*Chocolate and Pixie Dust* - An August 2008 TR- 8/29 pg 6: Sort of an update

Oh I likey EVERYTHING you bought! Don't you do it.....don't you FORCE me to buy more!!! I won't give in to you!

we are staying POR next June again. June 20 - June 27 it looks like.

I read fall 2009

I may be there the same time. We'll party like it's 19...uhmmm summer 2009!!

That doesn't stop us from dreaming. I just know he wrote and sings every song just to me and to me only. He want's my sex.

I think it's tight cropped tops, belly button rings and low-rise jeans.

What did you order? And how did you decide on GG rather than Costco?

I loved the purchases. Thanks for sharing the pics. I think you're addicted to shopping :)

Ahh since Georgie isn't interested, I guess I'll just have to pretend he is!!!

I didn't finish my order just yet because I had to go to the wine shop. I picked GG because I couldn't figure out Costco's websits :lmao:

I am addicted to shopping. I have other vices too, nothing illegal :rotfl2:

Oh I likey EVERYTHING you bought! Don't you do it.....don't you FORCE me to buy more!!! I won't give in to you!

:lmao: I'm a bad influence!

I'm getting ready to go the exbf's for some pre-birthday partying. Yes, we practically share the same birthday. He'll be 34 on the 23rd and I'll be 31 on the 24th :scared1:

I should have some interesting stories when I return!!!

The Disney purchases are very cute! T (well, everyone, but T in particular) will be well outfitted. ::yes::

Maybe I can convince my family to wear matching shirts next year :rotfl2:

As a wearer of matching t-shirts, I must say they are capable of getting you good stuff. :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

Everything is drama for preteen girls. You are definitely going to have lots of stories. I'm glad you're going to share them here :rotfl2:

I may just make matching shirts as a joke for Christmas :rotfl:

:rotfl:

20 pages? :surfweb: Have fun tonight!!! :goodvibes

Thanks!!!

:rotfl:

Thanks. We should do a Disney fashion show :rotfl:

You've convinced me to make matching t-shirts for to wear at least one day next year!

Well, I just got home (yes, it's after 7 a.m EST) after some pre-birthday partying. Naturally, I brought over some vodka. I didn't find out until I got to my exbf's house that he didn't have orange or cranberry juice to mix it with. And drinking it straight wasn't going to happen. Or so I thought!

Now, we're both creative people when it comes to mixing drinks. We head to the fridge to see what mixers we have. Well, there's Muscle Milk, a protein drink to accompany weightlifting for men (he and his roommates were Marines and feel the need to be ready for combat), water, and Perrier. We look in the freezer (I am still amazed that he didn't know what was in his own refridgerator) and find ice pops. Uhmm ok nothing in the form of a fruit juice was available.

Now it was time to be creative. I was not going to mix my GG with Muscle Milk out of pure fear. So, naturally we mixed it with Perrier and Poland Spring. It was awful, but we kept drinking.

We needed something to add some flavor. So we added ice pops to our vodka. Yes, we crushed ice pops into pieces and mixed it in our vodka. Totally gangsta! We stooped to an all new low. What we do for our Grey Goose!

As many of you know, the exbf is not a lover of Disney. His only trip to the World was in a cast after a football injury. Not a happy memory for him. But he is a huge fan of the Muppets. He LOVES Fozzie Bear. I brought him a stuffed Fozzie Bear from World of Disney and he cuddled with it for about 20 minutes. I probably should have ran, but that's when it hit me.

To convince the ex that he MUST take a trip to WDW with me prior to having kids I'll need to bribe him. The plan is to take many many photos of all things Muppets, which is really limited to that MuppetVision show, to show him. I can make it seem like Disney is wall to wall Animal, Kermit, and Fozzie. I'll even bring him back some Muppets treats. Now that my plan is in motion, let's see if I can work on another trip :rotfl2:

Mike (my brother) and I had a long conversation last night about Disney :scared1: My brother is not an OCD (Obessive Complusive DISer) like me. If it were up to him, he'd book his vacations a month in advance. No ADRs would be made. He'd barely make it to the airport.

Well, turns out Mike is pretty excited about next year's Disney 1st birthday blowout. We were actually discussing resort choices. That is until he said what is the equivalent of a four letter word to me. HE WANTS TO GO TO UNIVERSAL ONE DAY :scared1: Now, I'm all for trying new things. We've been to US a few times before, with our most recent trip being June 2007. I can't even phathom losing a day of Disneyness for anything else. I won't even dare venture to that park that forces large sea animals to perform for humans.

I just didn't understand why he'd risk losing a day of Disney magic. Here's Mike's logic: T has begun to outgrow his obsession with Thomas and trains and has taken up an interest in superheros. He loves the Incredible Hulk and Batman. Mike and T already have their tickets for opening of Batman. So, Mike wants to take T to Islands of Adventure to bask in the glory of comic books and superheros. BLAH! No thanks. I'm not into tall green men. Tall paramedics...different story :rolleyes1

Like a good sister, I compromised and came up with a suitable alternative. We can figure out how to have a rental car for one day to go to Islands of Adventure. Will I go too? Absolutely NOT! Mike, Natasha, and T will go check out Islands of Adventure one morning, leaving my parents, Jackson, and I to explore all that Disney has to offer.

I know what you must be thinking. They'll lose quality Disney time. I took that into consideration and voila! The solution was simple. A LONGER stay at Disney  So it looks like we may have a 9-10 day stay on our hands :yay:

Our next issue is resort. We discussed getting a couple of rooms at either the GF, Poly, or CR vs. a two bedroom villa either at the Beach Club, Boardwalk, or Animal Kingdom Lodge. We haven't decided yet. (Your thoughts and opinions are needed here :) )

We talked about tickets, dining plans, and flights. Here's what we came up with:

Tickets: MYW with park hoppers
Dining Plan: Deluxe baby!!! (You didn't think we were going to USE that kitchen in the villa, did ya?)
Flights: American, of course! What will it cost? Nada, nothing, zilch, zero!! Why? I have enough miles to get 6 round trip tickets.

I think T will especially love it.

I'm also debating the water park, fun, and more option for next year. I'm thinking TL and Blizzard Beach deserve a visit.

Ok I'm caught up! Geesh - step away from the computer for an evening and look what happens!

Definitely rent him that car or put him in a cab and send him on his way. We do NOT take away Disney days. (see my TR about SeaWorld. :goodvibes )

I would take T to Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon this trip - they have REALLY CUTE kiddie areas, with mini slides, etc. I prefer Blizzard Beach because of the "Bob Pool" - the waves are calm little blips that you float in peacefully! Typhoon Lagoon's 6 foot wave is too harsh for a little guy (me included, all 4' 9" of me ! )

For next year - I'd go for the Beach Club area. We just ADORE the Dolphin's location - the Boardwalk and Epcot are in walking distance, the boat ride to Epcot and Studios is so pleasant... it's such a great spot! I would think a villa would be nice for all of you if you are staying that many days. :yay:

we are staying POR next June again. June 20 - June 27 it looks like.

I read fall 2009

Scott, Looks like we will probably overlap some days! Meet me for a Grey Goose Slushie in France!!!!!! Oui! Oui! :goodvibes

I think that is sacrilegious what you did to GREY GOOSE!!!:scared1: Couldn't you have wasted a Smirnoff bottle with all of that inferior mixing?! :lmao:

I don't think adding ice pops to your GG is trashy at all! Now adding it to your Boone's Farm is a different story! :rotfl2:

I like the idea of popsicles and grey goose. I may try it tonight!

What's a grown man doing with popsicles in his freezer anyway? :confused3

take lots of pics from Muppet Vision and photoshop them into other parks so it looks like there all around

Just get a bunch of stuffed muppets and take one with you everywhere you go (like Flat Stanley) and take pictures of them doing everything you do! Exbf will think it's all about the muppets!

That is hilarious! I can honestly say I've never before heard, or thought of, using popsicles in mixed drinks. :lmao:

I agree. I need to be immersed in Disney magic 24/7. I like to pretend there is no world outside of the World.

I think we're going to try a water park. Should be fun. Needless to say the tr will not have Jen in swimwear pics :lmao:

I think it's going to be the Epcot resort area :thumbsup2

:lmao: The grey goose survived. We had to make due with the ice pops. Either that or down the GG with Muscle Milk.

sounds like you had a long night!;)

Yes and interesting :rolleyes1

I don't think adding ice pops to your GG is trashy at all! Now adding it to your Boone's Farm is a different story! :rotfl2:

It doesn't taste great. But it was better than GG and water :lmao:

I need to investigate the popsicles a little more :confused3

take lots of pics from Muppet Vision and photoshop them into other parks so it looks like there all around

:lmao: What a great idea. I'll make a Pal Gonzo.

:rotfl: That's a great idea, Scott!!!!

Sounds like you had a very fun and creative bartending night, Jen!

Thank goodness I don't bartend for a living!

Just get a bunch of stuffed muppets and take one with you everywhere you go (like Flat Stanley) and take pictures of them doing everything you do! Exbf will think it's all about the muppets!

:rotfl2: When I take a pic with Mickey, I'll photoshop Beaker's face over his.

That is hilarious! I can honestly say I've never before heard, or thought of, using popsicles in mixed drinks. :lmao:

Ooh, both excellent ideas! :thumbsup2

I doubt we'll use popsicles again. Next time I'll just bring cranberry or orange juice AND Grey Goose.

Hmmm I wonder how Operation Muppets will play out.

Oh I almost forgot...

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: 21 days!!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

In exactly 3 weeks, we'll be relaxing in our room at the Contemporary after a fun dinner at Chef Mickey's waiting to watch Wishes on the balcony. Perhaps we'll have a chocolate monorail to eat.

This guy will make an appearance at the Contemporary in support of Operation Muppets:

Between these two things, I about sucked the straw from my root beer float down my throat! Too funny!

Happy 21 Days! I can't believe you are three weeks away from Disney magic and fun!

I have to learn Photoshop and FAST :lmao:

Thanks!!! I can't wait.

Did you do mousekeeping envelopes? I can't recall. If so, would you recommend it?
