*Chocolate and Pixie Dust* - An August 2008 TR- 8/29 pg 6: Sort of an update

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hey, maybe my 50 13-year olds could pair up with your 24 5-year-olds while we are all at WDW -- it could be one of those mentoring things!!! :thumbsup2

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

We'd need a vacation to recover from the field trip!

I would do this option and possibly eat at Earl of sandwich

Earl of Sandwich is pretty popular. I think either DTD or stay at the resort. I don't want to fight the afternoon crowds at the MK anymore. Everyone has talked sense into me.

Could we just put them on the bus, send them home, and then stay a few more days on our own??? I'm sure some parents would be coming along...they could just be in charge on the way home!

I think that's a great idea :thumbsup2

We could stay a few extra days to debrief and plan follow-up lessons.

I am hoping we might try it this trip ourselves.... Farrah raved about it last year so I wanna give it a try

Maybe I can take my class on a field trip.

You joke, but the other day I was looking at the educational packages that Disney offers and attempting to brainwash my 7th graders with, "Wouldn't it be fun to go to WDW next year to celebrate finishing middle school?" They were all for it!

Then, I realized that my sickness is becoming a full-blown disease when I start thinking about taking 50 middle schoolers just so I can get a fix! :scared1:

I think the both of you have totally cracked. :rotfl2: :lmao:

Seems like everyone raves about Earl of Sandwich. I have to check the menu.

As June gets closer, insanity starts to set in.

I agree with Scott! :lmao:

:rotfl2:

Me too. I was tired this morning.

We will be in Disneyland then! :lovestruc

Don't you just wish the school day started at noon on Mondays?

Have you ever been to Disneyland at Christmas?

I cannot wait to take the boat from BC to DHS.

It is SO GREAT using the boat instead of a BUS!!! ;)

Thanks for the info TGJ :thumbsup2

I wonder what kind of drinks are sold poolside at the CR.

"Sand Bar" at the Contemporary:
Specialty Drinks - Choose from Pina CoLAVA or Orange Creamsicle $7.25 and Captain's Mai-Tai, Long Island Iced Tea, or Poolside Lemonae $7.00 Served in a souvenir cup for an additional $2.00

I'd go with the Mai-Tai myself, but I like the selection at the Cabana Bar at the Dolphin much better. LOL Yet ANOTHER reason to stay at the DOLPHIN!! :cool1:

Right now I have December resorts narrowed down to: GF, WL, AKL, POR, Dolphin, BWI

:lmao:

I suffer from teacher's Sunday night insomnia.

Yeah, DOLPHIN!!! :rotfl:

I wonder if there's any research on Teacher's Sunday Night Insomia :confused3
:

I'll bet there is. I always had it, too!!! (So happy to be RETIRED now! ;) )

Yes I wish school started or ended at noon on Mondays.

We haven't been to Disneyland at Christmas.:santa:

I hope you do a tr!

Thanks for the drink info :thumbsup2 If I have the Long Island Iced Tea I may not make it back to my room :lmao:

I'm going to call the Dolphin. You should get compensation for advertising. I've decided to go visit in August. I'll get a mai tai when I'm there ;)

So jealous that you're retired.

Hmmm when in August are you planning on going. We are going end of August thru Labor Day. BIG dilemma, stay at Dolphin OR FREE DINING at BC. What would you do?

I'm going August 9-16.

I'd do free dining at the BC :thumbsup2

Just think of me as the Cheshire Cat, "We're all a little mad here!" :ccat:

So true!!! :rotfl2:

You know, there is a chain of restaurants in Phoenix called Native New Yorker.

I was wondering why your DIS name always rings a bell with me, and then today, I drove past the restaurant and it hit me!

OMG! What kind of food is served there? I'm getting an image of pizza and bagels.
