*Chocolate and Pixie Dust* - An August 2008 TR- 8/29 pg 6: Sort of an update

I'm thinking of taking a golf lesson at one of the courses in WDW. Has anyone done this? Know anyone that's taken a lesson? What was your experience?

I don't remember that one, but my two favorites were ma-nuh-mah-nuh doo-doot-do-do-doo and the skit where the aliens are outside the house trying to communicate with the telephone. Anyone remember those?
I think THAT"S the same one!!! LOL :lmao:

That would be fun!!

Disney food and snack prices are sometimes a bit expensive. We all know that the price of some things magically increases when they make their way onto Disney property. But what I encountered today was ridiculous!

I spent the afternoon at Yankee Stadium watching the Bronx Bombers kick some Tampa Bay butt. Here are some of the prices for food and souvies in the house that Ruth built:

Tickets: $180/ticket for seats that came with a warning to watch out for foul balls. I paid $180 to possibly end up with a concussion.

Hot Dog: $5.00

Poland Spring Water: $4.75

Cracker Jack: $5.75

Coke: $4.75

Chicken fingers and fries: $10.00

Bag of Peanuts: $5.00

Twizzlers: $4.75

Adult sweatshirt: $75.00

Toddler size hat: $17.50

Parking: $30.00

:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

I cannot believe I spend less in Disney than I spend going to see ONE BASEBALL GAME!!!

The Boston Red Sox winning the World Series: Priceless

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Gotta get Mets tickets next. Luckily I have no loyalties to any team. I just have to see a game in each stadium before the new ones open next year.

I prefer football.

I gotcha beat. Last night at Texas Stadium in Dallas for Supercross, Coke was $5.50 (only one size available)

But you beat me on almost everything else.
Parking $10
Tickets (nosebleed) $10
Program $10
Bottled water $3.50
Beer $7.00
Tiny plastic wine bottle: priceless at this time...

Amazing that people feel the need to charge that much for Coke.

I think I may need to move to Texas :confused3

They did!

Is apartments bigger in Texas?
I think my first house in NH was bigger than most NYC apts.

Updated: that probably doesnt make much sense if you don't know starter homes in central NH.....it's late I need sleep!!
