Thanks to this board, I've learned about the awesome special desserts available @ the GF. We are planning to eat dinner at 1900 Park Fare on our Oct trip. I plan to get the chocolate Cinderella slipper for DD6; she'll love it! I see that the typical "boy" dessert is the Dalmation dog bones. I don't think my DS3 will like them. Yes, the dalmations are cute (He calls them "dogmations"), but since he won't eat donuts, I doubt he'll eat eclairs. He does LOVE chocolate of any type, tho. Do you think it's ok (i.e., not to "feminine") to get a slipper for my son? He is well versed in princesses, thanks to his big sister. He is quite often the prince! And since we're dining with the Cindy characters, I am hoping that it'll just follow the theme of the evening. Besides, I'm sure DH & I will have to help them finish them & I think we'd prefer the chocolate too!

Thanks for your opinions!

Did you know that the dogbones are filled with chocolate and not vanilla??? So they are actually chocolate frosted, with chocolate filling. DH said the filling was delicious, creamy but not too sweet.

If you think he will like the slipper better then get that for him.He is only 3 so I dont think he will be to worried if it looks "girlie" or not. He will just see the chocolate and dig in, lol.
Plus if your kids are like mine somewill be happy with what they got and the other will be mad they didnt one of those too.

I had not shown either of the kids pictures from here, because I wanted these special desserts to be a surprise. But, since I was unsure about DS & since someone had just posted excellent pictures of both (THANKS!!), I showed them to my son. I described each one to him -- Thanks for the info that the eclairs are chocolate on the inside!. And guess which one he preferred - the dog bones! He said, "That's yummy! I want to eat dog bones!" Problem solved. Boy, that was must simpler than I was making it out to be!

Thanks for your input!

Interesting! I've never seen either dessert. Does anyone have any pictures? Thank you! :)
