Excellent point!
I absolutely cannot eat Greek yogurt as "yogurt" ... aka ... Yoplait, Dannon, Activia (all of which I like). I've tried choking down Chobani, Faje, Dannon Oikos and Stoneyfield Farm Oikos. I've tried different flavors. I've tried adding fruit and/or cinnamon. Even tried adding SF Jello powder. Just Do.Not.Like.It.
I was irritated because this stuff is not cheap!
Wednesday I gave up on thinking of it as yogurt and began using it as sour cream. Mixed 1/2 a container of plain Faje Total 0% with an equal amount of salsa and used it as a dressing for a southwestern chicken salad. DELICIOUS!
So, I'll still be buying and using Greek yogurt, but only as a healthy, high protein, low sugar, low fat base for dips and salad dressings
