Chlorine free pool at CSR?

I thought I read somewhere that there was a chlorine free pool at CSR? My son is allergic to chlorine and I called to request a room near the non chlorinated pool, and the CM acted as if I was crazy.

Anyone have info?

When the resort opened, they were the first to use bromine in the quiet pools. I can't remember is the same can be said for the main pool and whether or not they still use bromine in the quiet pools. I assume they do.

Which location would you recommend we request in proximity to a quiet pool?

We like rancho 7b. It is one of the quiet pool buildings and is close to bus stop #4. Cabana 9a is an idea spot but until all the rooms have been rehabbed there, it is hit or miss because it is the old smoking optional building. I've read some reports that guests ended up with rooms that used to be smoked in. Hope this helps.
