(BTW, am I the only one who gets a massive adrenaline rush trying to get a booking to process once you find out something is open? Just waiting for one of those bleepity bleep errors the system is notorious for to make you lose the booking, fingers twitchy, heart racing. It goes through and you feel like jello as the adrenaline dissipates? I mean, I'm not even of a do-or-die mindset about ADRs, but there just something about getting that against-the-clock WIN.)

Thanks loveshak for starting this thread! I'm also a newbie and guess I messed up earlier by posting the openings I was seeing at CP and H and V, but now I know better I'm trying to plan our first Disney trip for our family and both sets of grandparents in November and have been totally overwhelmed by all this dining craziness. I've been stressing big-time about not being able to get BOG or CRT--the two restaurants my princess-obsessed girls and in-laws specifically asked for (of course, like everyone else!). I finally signed up for Dining Buddy last week and got several alerts on Monday for BOG but still wasn't quick enough to get anything even though I was clicking on alerts immediately. Frustrating, but hoping that no matter what happens with those two restaurants we'll still have a great time.

Your first Disney World trip!! How fun!! And yes, no matter what the ADRs, you will have a blast! ADRs did not used to be this bad and the discussions about what to blame for ADR craziness have been had over and over again on the Disboards so I won't get into all that, but I can imagine as a newbie how crazy it all seems! I always feel bad for people who visit WDW for the first time and don't realize how critical ADRs are now for getting into a TS restaurant! Everywhere else I travel I never book hotel restaurants in advance! Can you imagine someone booking at Poly and then reasonably thinking they could make dinner reservations once they got there, hoping to enjoy a nice meal at their resort, and then find out they couldn't!

The good thing is you have lots of time still! Hopefully you find the perfect ADRs for BOG and CRT! I learned on Monday that when there are posts about a bunch of openings to keep trying and trying and something may pop up. I had to click the "Find Reservation" for like 20 minutes before something popped up! Maybe it's because the system was overwhelmed (hahaha) or as other people got reservations they were cancelling theirs and they were then hitting the system a little later??

I was searching for the elusive H&V ADR for November. We were lucky enough to snag a CRT that worked for us at 180 days, but I nearly cried when there were literally no H&V to be had the entire week. If not for the rule breaker in the November ADR thread this morning, I wouldn't have known about the release - because my Dining Scout alert never came! We were actually able to score a Fantasmic H&V lunch on a day that works for us, so I was literally dancing around the house this morning. Before I even put my contacts in. Which is dangerous. Ha! I've been excited about it all day, and very few outside the DIS understand!

Just got a CRT Disney Dining Buddy text and clicked immediately only to find the Disney site froze and when I went back in it was gone!!!! Who can relate to this frustration?!?! ADRs have officially made me crazy

So frustrating! That happened to me with BOG. They disappear quick!! Luckily another one popped up I was able to snag. Hopefully you'll get another CRT!

I think that is what messed me up with my 180 day out reservations when I first started trying to book! The site and app just didn't work till like 8am central time that morning. I know I get "We were unable to check for available tables at this time" more often than I get the "no reservations available" notification. Why?! It is indeed so frustrating!

I so happy I could burst it was frustrating to see avail ADR's and not yell it out! And I too missed th BOG blast of ADR's but I did score a CRT pre-park opening so I'll cross my fingers.

Yay! I was hoping this thread was OK and I tried to make it clear (and will continue to reinforce) that cancellations and specific ADR times still go on the cancellation thread and the same rules apply about NOT posting wants/trades/transfers!

At least I hope it's clear that specific ADR openings that are found should go on the cancellation thread, just not the general 'lots of November times opened up posts.'

I was wondering if anyone was able to get a BOG for lunch in November on Monday. I didn't realize Disney released more reservations until about an hour had passed, and by then there was nothing available. I don't know if I miss an opportunity, or if Disney has yet to release lunch reservations.

I did get a lunch reservation for November 18 at 1:35pm on Monday. I don't know if it was just released by disney or if someone cancelled that lunch reservation when they got a dinner one.

Thanks for the info. I've read about a couple of others getting lunch reservations, but I think they may have picked up cancelled reservations.
