Just saw this on the Disney Blog and thought I'd share.

"Morimoto Asia will begin to accept reservations on Sept. 16 through Open Table. Or beginning Sept. 30, you can make reservations through the restaurant at 407-560-6686. Reservations through 407-WDW-DINE begin Nov. 1. Hours are daily from 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m. serving lunch, dinner and weekend brunch."

Set to open Sept.30

That's interesting the long delay between Open Table and WDW DINE??

Just read on the Nov cancellations thread that Sci-Fi is now offering a breakfast. Looks like it's available from Nov through 3rd week in January and reservations are open now. The full menu isn't listed but there are some things listed and a little info about it. Just grabbed an 8 am reservation for our HS day.

This happened to me and I found that Scout was taking me to the main dining page, if I did a search for the date/time/location it came up for me.

Actually this happened to me once a few hours after the notification (it was overnight and I tried first thing in the morning)

I have scout setup for two free searches as that's all I need to find. Any search on my own always comes up nil. Scout has yet to notify me with anything as well. I've not received one notification in the 6 weeks I've had it setup. I understand scout doesn't search every minute but how often does it search and would it search more often for a paid subscription to scout?

I have a paid subsciption with Scout and have yet to get any notification for some of the ones I am looking for. Even things that would normally be less popular like Tonys I have only had 2 notifications for. One came last night during dinner and I did not take it because I have one and was just tweaking times. It was gone by the time scout searched again.

who do you think has a better turnaround time for getting the ADR that you need? Scout or Buddy?

I have only used Scout however I have had just as good luck doing occasional searches. I have found a good number of Chef Mickeys that way(obviously I did not take them all only the ones we thought we would use and released the ones we could not use) a prepark opening CP, I saw a mid morning CRT but missed it because of a system glitch

I do however like Scout because it has helped me get all the non character meals we wanted.

I have paid subscription to scout and buddy and I got a coveted CRT pre park ADR. I have gotten Fantasmic pkg at Mama Melrose, Sci Fi dinner, BOG lunch and Breakfast and I am going during the Free Dining period, there is still hope.

I don't have the dining plan, so I'm not sure. I think it's a table service credit. There's a thread on the restaurant board about the Sci-Fi breakfast (I think it's on page 2 of the restaurant thread).

"Breakfast will be served from 8-10:15 a.m. and includes breakfast pastries and choice of appetizer, entrée and non-alcoholic beverage for $23.99, $12.99 ages 3 to 9"

Nice! I agree there is still hope. I feel like the cancellation thread has been extremely busy the last few days and we're still 2 months out from November! Fingers crossed everyone gets their ADRs!!

I read September 22nd on the News Round Up thread...although I don't know that they will be taking reservations. From what I've read it's mainly a bar that will only be serving small plates, not entrées. They may do reservations but from what I've read it sounds like it's going to be like Trader Sam's - variety of drink options and a few small plates. I know TS doesn't take reservations.

We definitely plan on hitting Jock Lindsey's one night. It looks like it's going to be awesome!

Pretty new to the boards but I tried coordinating a dining cancellation with someone. Unfortunately we had canceled in the afternoon and she was unable to pick it up. Is there a time you would recommend canceling/coordinating so that the other person has a better chance of picking up the reservation? Is it slower late at night?

I have only done it once so far at 8 PM and it worked - make sure you are both logged in and ready to go when you do it...

I have done swaps at almost all times of day. I like to set a time for the person to start searching and then drop 15 to 30 seconds later. The person on the receiving end should keep searching over and over. Do not try to chat with the dropper just search. Lately some have been taking longer to come up.

Also make your drop time via PM.

I have used Scout and got reservations for Be Our Guest (breakfast), Sci Fi Dining (Lunch) and 50's Prime Time (Dinner). The one I'm coveting the most is Akershus for breakfast.. sigh. We only booked our trip last month so most of the reservations were booked. When I look a few days out (like within the week) there are always reservations, so I really hope something opens up soon..

It sounds like you were able to get some good ADRs! Hopefully you find Akershus before your trip! We still have some time and most of us on here still looking for an ADR hope that we see cancellations around the 60 day and 45 day marks before our trip. At the 60 day mark people can start making FPs and we hope the hoarders will let go of multiple reservations they are holding on to as they wait to finalize FP. Also, at the 45 day mark people have to pay in full and offsite guests can start making FPs. So, we can hope!

Of course, I know some hoarders hold on to the ADRs until the day before since they have that long to hold on to their reservations. So even once you get to WDW, keep checking for openings! Good luck!

I tried buddy for a H&V and I saw it the ADR listed on the cancellation board and I never got an e-mail or text. The ADR is now gone so money not well spent on my part I have always gotten everything I wanted as far as ADR's all on my own but with November being popular this year I though I better get a partner but it didn't pay off for me yet.
