Chit Chat Thread - November ADRs...

No the meals stay the same starting at 8am. Also they changed it only about a week before we left. AK opened at 8am most of the week so I dropped our 8am TH ADR last minute. The good news is the will release FPs during that time if u missed out on something you really wanted. My guess is MK will open early on 11/15, 11/19, and 11/20 and possibly into the weekend of 21 and 22. Also I think AK will open at 8am starting the 16th. At least that's what happened last year and it seems like even bigger crowds are expected this year

Hmmmmm....well, I will keep my eyes out! Thanks for the info!

Right now my MK day is 11/17 (a party day) and I am excited for my GG pre-park opening on 11/19...did Epcot change hours as well?

MK is already scheduled for AM EMH on 11/16 and PM EMH on 11/18. If they add AM EMH on 11/20, that will benefit us. I wasn't able to get any pre-park open ADRs at the parks, but we have some "brunch" times. Early EMH will give us a bit more touring time before opening.

I think kidsfirsttrip is saying that the park would open at 8 on those days, not that there would be EMH. You will have more touring time either way, but the park would be open to anyone, not just resort guests.

Anyone know if I would be able to get seats at fantasmic if I have Hollywood and Vine (not fantasmic package) at 5:45?? Should I try to get FP+ for this? Are the FP seats good for fantasmic?

No Epcot didn't. MK and AK. HS opened at 8am the day they closed at 4pm, this year that is 11/17 so I'd expect that as well...

Yes it was a general 8am opening, not EMH but rumors were that it was a great time to tour. We did AK 8am opening and it was dead that first hour.

If the hours change to 8am park opening during the week before thanksgiving, all my breakfast ADRs and touringplans will be garbage. I guess it'll be a QS breakfast for us at the hotel if that happens and then I'll have to try to get some other character brunch/lunch. So much work has been put into this trip planning already only to possibly change and more work will be required again.

Oh, if anyone wants to spend $99pp for the Ferry Wishes Dessert Cruise, the reservations are now open:

The dates for the wishes cruise are horrible! We are doing mvmcp on the 15th and they don't offer the cruise and the only other dates its offered during our 6 night stay are mvmcp event dates. That leaves us no chance of doing it unless we go to another Christmas party.....which isn't going to happen. Wonder why they only picked some party dates and not all or why they didn't pick non party dates because with the party and the cruise that is a very expensive night !!

Where can you find actual park hours for last year? Google has found lots of calendars with the hours as they were first released, not necessarily what they actually were.

Why those dates? Are they the mvmcp dates?

Those are the dates of MVMCP that week (along with the 17th). MK closes at 7 those nights.

It says that the cruise leaves from the ferry launch at the Transportation Center; it does not mention that you need a ticket for the MK or party (it's more than I would spend, but I read about it anyway). You should be fine to go without a ticket. Be aware it does say prepaid, so you will get charged the entire cost when booking.

Thank you!!! I didn't realize that:)
It is expensive, but I'm not getting a lot of the reservations that I want, so I might splurge on this. It seems as though the week of the 10-15 character dining is really hard to find! I can't find anything!

The entirety of November seems pretty hard to get anything. Maybe if I didn't get sea sick I would consider the Ferry.

I think the only place you'll find it is touring plan if you have a subscription and go back to historical data. It won't tell you the original times but it will tell you the hours those days

Wanted to let you all know that if you are using dining scout and get a text msg. And the link does not take you to the res that you want, it does not mean that it was taken. I assumed that bc that is how dining buddy works. I am SO HAPPY right now because I finally got a notice for Akershus and when I clicked the link it took me to the page with all of the restaurants (not Akershus) I clicked off and went on to my app and booked from my dis experience app. I thought I would never get this reservation!!

I was wondering if anyone knew if the Minnie H&V Fantasmic would count as one table credit on the dining plan or not. I know w/o Fantasmic it is one credit. (I don't have a reservation for either, but a person can dream)

One credit for fantasmic too.

Agreed! I hate that Disney makes us plan so far our for ADRs and FPs and then could change the game on us the week before our trip...hopefully not though!

I thought I knew what you meant, but then I confused myself; is Minnie's with Fantasmic also one, or does the Fantasmic make it two (an extra credit for the Fantasmic)?

It's one credit total for Minnie's with Fantasmic. It's also one credit for Minnie's by itself.

It's the same way with a regular H&V ADR or H&V with Fantasmic.
