Chip 'N Dale Campfire?

Hi! We are staying at PC the 14 - 21 of January. I have heard that anyone can attend the campfire at the WL. Is there a charge? Worth it? Where can I find a schedule?

the campfire is at FW not WL and yes you can attend

for more information go ask over on the camping at WDW

but I think it is in the Meadow Trading post

you would need to take your bus to the MK then boat over to FW - then take FW bus to the Meadow Trading - hint ask the bus drivers at FW - they are very good at knowing where everything is at FW.

there is a movie too.

you can't drive your car - you can drive your car to the area around the kennel and the horseback riding - but then you have to take a FW bus.

oh going back - you would need to go to DD (unless you drove) to get back to your WDW resort. Unless you got lucky and went on a night that MK was open late (E-nights)

We did it back in May - it was very fun! It's free to all resort guests. Check the info you get upon check-in for times because it varies. It's usually right at dusk or just after. Very cute - fun to make smores and watch the kids have fun. We'll definitely do it again. And, don't tell anyone, but we don't even have kids.

My dh and I just did this last Thursday night. (We don't have kids either, btw.) Loads of fun even in the cold. Marshmallows over the fire, singalong, then the movie. All the kids there seemed to be having a terrific time.

The camping board keeps a thread going near the top where they either list the month's movies or have a link to a site which does. The movies are usually posted for the upcoming month at the end of the previous month. If you don't have time to check the movie schedule before you leave, you can always call WL when you get there--they have the movie schedule.

We weren't staying at FW or WL, but we took the bus over there from DS-MGM, and were able to catch the bus back to MK on a night when they were open late, so it all worked out smoothly and quickly.

We had a great time and intend to do this again when we're back in the World.
