Help! I need this info for my Disney scrapbook. The reason I am asking in this BB is b/c we learned who was who during a character meal. But we forgot! Which is Chip and which is Dale?

I know it's based on the nose color, spacing of teeth and how the eyes are set. If you remember from your character meal, or just KNOW;) , please remind me!

Thanks!

If you see them together at a character meal or in the parks, ask them. It's great how they explain it. :teeth:

Thank you so much! With Cheryl's description and Minnie'sGuy's tip, I will always remember which is which! Chocolate CHIP, I like it!

Scott the actual characters show you? That's gotta be funny! :p We were given the description at LTT when we were there 2 months ago but forgot.

At Garden Grill a couple years ago I made the mistake of saying out loud that Chip had one tooth and Dale two while they were at our table. Chip became quite agitated! He managed to communicate through mime that in fact he had TWO teeth just like Dale, but they were together rather than separated! It was great!

Hi,

Well I don't know which is which - but don't ever make the mistake of calling them squirrels - which I did!

They didn't like that at all and made me stand in the corner!!! Much to the delight of my DD - who of course knows they are chipmunks.

I always remember it because Dale has the DAvid LEtterman gap in his teeth.

In the pics, the one with the brown nose has the separated teeth, and the one with black nose has the joined teeth! So now what???

When we were at Hollywood & Vine- Chip accidentally?? signed Dale's name- I knew he was Chip because of the chocolate chip nose but he honestly thought he was Dale- it was quite funny.

Chip: small black nose, teeth together (no gap), and eyes wide open.

Dale: Larger reddish-brown nose, teeth with obvious gap, and eyelids slightly droopy.

Cherylp3,

Thanks for explaining the difference between Chip and Dale. I can never tell them apart.

"Chip - brown nose 1 tooth

Dale - Red nose 2 teeth"

"In the pics, the one with the brown nose has the separated teeth, and the one with black nose has the joined teeth! So now what???"

Sorry I need to pay better attention! I totally missed where you said Dale had a red nose . I was thinking brown & black, not brown & red. Sorry! It's all coming together now.

Thanks dmfuru for setting me straight.
