Chip and Dale - Magic Kingdom

I've heard that Chip and Dale do an informal meet and greet near Big Top Souvenirs in MK. Is this true? We're considering cancelling our Garden Grill dinner, but want to still meet Chip and Dale on our trip.

Is the meet and greet pretty constant? How long are the lines typically?

Agree check with a Character site.

But personally (and we go back there) I have never seen them over there, so not sure how regular.

They are usually more in Frontierland, but confirm with the character schedules as mentioned.

The line is not crazy in my experience, it's do-able without planning ahead.

There are other characters in the circus area, but not Chip and Dale that I have heard/seen.

If they are the only reason you are going to Garden Grill you can likely meet them elsewhere. But it seems like different experiences and needs, so you may want to keep the meal and try to add the character meeting once on site more ad-hoc.

And I booked it because we had 1 more TS left, we plan to be at Epcot already that night, and I figured it would be nice for the kids to be guaranteed to meet Chip and Dale and Pluto. But then a Tusker House lunch freed up on our AK day, which I know my husband would much prefer.

I don't think my husband or kids will like the food that much better at Garden Grill than at one of the other QS in Epcot, so the only reason we'd keep it (and pay OOP for one of the other TS meals) is for the M&G. I'd just like to know the kids have a relatively easy way to meet Chip and Dale before we cancel... We missed them on our cruise last February, and I don't want to miss them again!

Really? I wonder when they went back to tomorrowland? They tested that location for 3-4 weeks in July, but late July moved to Storybook.
