If I hadn't seen the picture and someone told me about this guy, I'd never have believed it. This poor fellow was left on the Tilt-A-Whirl a bit too long as a baby. :sad2:

Please be careful, Rosie!!!

I will have a BLAST !! Carol knows me well and is prepared for any and all of my antics !! I absolutely LOVE:love: going to dances with this population , they are just soo fun loving and just simply ENJOY!!!:yay: I will push wheelchair bound ones out on the dance floor and just BOOGIE!!! They LOVE it !!

I have been to both. I haven't been to the Log Jam in a few years but one of my friends just went a few weeks ago and said it is just as good as always. Wonderful steaks and prime rib and a great salad bar. The Algonquin is a very nice restaurant as well, lovely views of the Lake.

I didn't give you any restaurant picks in the village yet because I haven't eaten in any of the restaurants there in many years - other than a slice of pizza or other fast food places. I will ask around though and see if I can come with some good ones for you. :flower3:

Wow Rosie you really are a calamity Jane aren't you :rotfl: I'm glad you didn't hurt yourself but hey at least you got a good spot :rotfl2:

I did just have a request for a TRAIN RIDE !!!Do you know if there are any!!!???

There is the Upper Hudson River Train - but it is in North Creek which I think is a 30 minute drive.

Here is the website to the cruise line in the village. The Minne-Ha-Ha is an hour cruise right from the village - paddle wheel boat - it's a nice scenic ride. http://www.lakegeorgesteamboat.com

Also, right in the village is the Fort William Henry museum - they have costumed guided tours. http://www.fwhmuseum.com/visitors.html

I'm still investigating restaurants!

One of the people going on the trip's families asked if it would be possible to do a train ride !! So I had found the Hudson Train Ride but hadn;t found details of times and dates !!I also like the Fort tour !! I know a lot of time will be at the Elvis Festival but I saw from previous Trip notes that they did do other stuff too!!I read in those notes about a neat restaurant where the staff dance with the customers !! Now that sounds like a lot of FUN and something ALL would enjoy !!! Carol WILL enjoy it :rotfl2::rotfl2: All this input from you is just great !! I was in Lakre George years ago when touring the New England States we came back that way !! Again Thank you!!!
