For two of our nights at the end of May, we will be returning to MK and MGM for dinner and to watch the fireworks. What should I pack for us to wear?

PS--if it helps, me and DD (7) are cold all the time.

A typical evening in late May would see temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s at fireworks time.

Hope this helps,

Bob

It's pretty humid isn't it? I was thinking of just wearing shorts at night.

MM, I think you'll be fine with shorts. The OP says she's always cold though.

Shorts and a t-shirt will be more than fine for most people at night in the parks. In May it is very comfortable at night (usually in the mid to upper 70s) but if you are always cold then I would suggest carrying a light jacket :wizard:

Last June it rained every day so, we brought beach towels to dry the kids off. I've read that there is usually less rain in May than June but, we're still throwing a beach towel or two in the bottom of the stroller. The kids can use them in a pinch in the chilly a/c or after playing in the wet areas. That way I'm not carrying around so many changes of clothes: swimsuits, sweaters, flip-flops, tennies, etc...

If you are always cold, maybe a pair of capris with a T-shirt and tie a sweatshirt around your waist in case you get cold. We always go during May and the evenings have always been warm and comfortable.
