Breakfast as normal in the foodcourt, I have my usual and DH trys waffles with strawberry's. Today we head to Aquatica which is a new park for us. It was sadly the day after someone drowned there and we weren't sure if it would be open but it was. We find a spot to dump our stuff and then do a lap of all the rides including the rapid river which we both really like.
We stop for lunch, I get chicken tenders, DH has a buffalo chicken sandwich and we share a slice of ultimate chocolate cake, its pretty good. We have a lie down to rest and let the food go down and read our books. After a while DH is ready to go again so he goes on some slides and I continue to read.
After a while he comes back and then we go off together again to do another lap including the raft ride where as I'm getting into the raft it moves away from the edge so I've got one foot in and one out which equals the splits!
Back to the hotel to get ready for this evenings ADR at Citricos. We drive to the GF via our new shortcut and I spot 2 more dear. We're early so have sit at the bar, I get a citrus bellini and DH has a glass of red.
At our table we are given personalised menu's and buttons for our anniversary (I must have told the CM about our recent anniversary when I made the ADR).
We are given some amuse bouche each and some bread, both are lovely. I opt for Duck Confit to start and DH has risotto. For mains we both get the veal shank and are given special forks to eat the marrow but neither of us trys it. To finish we share the fruity creme brulee.
All the food is wonderful and after we've finished we sit in the lobby for a bit listening to the band. When I was in the lobby before dinner I saw the cat lady and pointed her out to DH.
