Well guys. I'm finally on vacation! Yesterday was so much fun! Ee did this rallye in school. We were the princesses/heiress team(including one guy who is not homosexual but was awesome lol) and we had a 70s theme dinner. The school I work at is celebratin 40 years. It was inaugurated in 1969. We had a blast! I will show you some pics later as my friends send them to me. But here's one to start it off.

Also, well I signed for a part-time job for next year. 58.2% which is a bit better than I had this year. 14 periods out of 28. Will be teaching mostly the same as this year. So I'm really happy. I know there was no way I'd get a full-time job, so I'm happy to have the assurance I have a job in August.

Us, arts teachers at the school where I work at, want to take more place in the school. Right now, it seems that the only thing important at the school is sports. While I have nothing against sports, I believe the arts is very important and not every kid is in sports. So we are trying to get more and more important in the school. The sports teams have a t-shirt, and we got approved a for a t-shirt of our own that we will be selling starting September. I also decided to all the arts teachers are getting together to create a lipdub. All arts teachers meaning visual arts, music, drama and music. My question is:....... Which song should we use??

Any ideas about a song that represents the arts welll? Anything that talks about the arts, or passion, or anything positive. I'm looking for suggestions!

My friend, the one on the right, is a dance teacher. She has lotsa costumes hehe

I completely understand what you mean! My local high school was all about sports. I understand they are important & I always attend my friends & families games & practices. I enjoyed attending the sports events, but I feel that schools put too much emphasis on them.

I completely agree with you & believe there are many other things that are just as important!!! I don't understand why schools put so much focus on sports & overlook other subjects.

Turns out I'll be going to NYC Sept 3 to 6. A friend of mine called and said that our Art teacher association was having an organized trip. We'll be going to the museums and soho, and greenwich village and artist studios. woohoo!
