aww.. I'm so sorry about your friend's mom.. that is so sad... my thoughts and prayers are with you too I hate cancer!! my mom and dad both passed from cancer! I wish they would have lived long enough to see our little Heidi... but I know they see her from heaven. They have a good view!

It didn't work out to get the Beach Club for this August. We got the points to rent from my friend's brother, but BCV was fulled booked for studios the week we're there. We ended up renting their points for part of our Thanksgiving stay. We're going for 5 nights the week of Thanksgiving Nov 21-26th. We got the very last 2 bedroom villa on DVC property. Its a lock-out, there were no more dedicated 2 bedrooms. It just happened to be at our home resort Saratoga Springs. I still don't have August booked because I was waiting for Florida Tech to let me know what time the parent orientation session ends on Aug. 11th, so I know if we should stay overnight near the college on that night or if we have time to drive over to Disney and begin our stay there on the 11th. We'll stay at least 7 nights. I'm planning on doing Value. Pop 1st choice, Movies 2nd. I'd like to stay at POR, but after this week, I think we need to save as much $$ as possible. My DD7 loves Pop anyway. When I looked at BLT's points chart, we'd use too many points trying to stay there.. even with the S (for suckie) view!

I feel so numb emotionally. I haven't cried since wednesday morning. I'm trying to be strong for my bff. But why can't I cry when I'm alone? It feels like it's all stuck inside, and won't come out.

Hey guys! Things are starting to settle down.

I'll try to post my last day of the March trip this week end

I received my D23 calendar on Monday. So happy to see that when I got home. I had just come home from the funeral. So it was a nice change of pace.

And on Tuesday I received the spring number(which I had already bought in MArch, but who cares! I got 2! woohoo!), my certificate, a sticker, and the summer number.

I need summer to get here fast. I need a break. And I need to sleep. I spent a lot of time with my friend's family, trying to support them, and trying to be strong. It took a toll on me.

But at least it was sunny today. And I can sleep until 9am tomorow.

Wow so crazy. My neighboor just threw a plastic watering can at my cat.

Dunno why he did that. He saw me coming out. And he never spoke a word. He's a scary guy. But we've been taking care of his cat every time he was traveling. No more.

He once told my dad that he had days off work because he had threatened a guy to kill him. So we are trying not to rub him the wrong way.

Day 7
March 4

Today was our last day in Disney. I know: mommy I don't want to go home!!

So I decided to make it to the MK early. We had a lunch adr at Tony's and my mom would meet me for that.

I got to MK early. And as always, walked to Fantasyland. I did a few rides. Most of them repeats. Such as Mickey's Philharmagic and It's A Small World.

After that, I decided to go for rope drop in Toontown.

As everyone headed to go see the characters, I made my way to Minnie's house. And guess what..... I was by myself!!!

Yup, I had the entire house for myself for around 15 min. It was amazing!!

After that, I'm not exactly sure what I did. I think I went to shop into the huge store in the judge's tent. And I think I went to see the princesses. But I didn't buy the pictures from the session. They weren't my fave. And I don't remember buying anything in that store.

From my pictures it looks like I went to see the castle. Oh I remember. I had a cup of coffee while sitting on the bench near the fountain. And I looked at the castle show from behind hehe

After the show, I just walked around some more. I love to soak in the atmosphere before I go. Trying to bring back some of the magic with me.

At around noon I met up with my mom. We did some last minute shopping and it was time for our 1:10pm adr for Tony's.

The CMs were wonderful. So charming.

They wished me a happy b-day and more trips to come.

We had a wonderful meal. My mom had the chicken parmagiana. It was lovely. It was also last July when I had it. So I decided to change. I tried a spaghetti with meatballs. It was alright. I would have preferred to have a meat sauce but it was a marinara sauce.

For dessert we each had the most amazine Tiramisu. We go there mostly for that hehe

The girl stuck a candle in it and lit it. Then asked us if we wanted her to sing. We didn't really know what to answer. SO she sang. All by herself lol She was saved by another server who was nearby and who came to sing. She was sweet. The place was hopping. Seemed more popular than in July. Oh, I forgot to say that there were confettis on the table when we arrived hehe.

We made our way out once we were full. I may have gotten my Up! pics at that time, but I don't remember.

We then made our way back to the hotel to hang out and make the bags. After all, the DME bus was picking us up at 3:25am.

Day 8

March 5

It was time to go home.

Let's all cry together.

Yeah, I knew I had to go back to work. That was a bit depressing. But what was more depressing is that we were on the bus at around 3:30am.

It was soooooooooo quiet around the resort and in the bus.

We got to the airport early. There was barely anything opened at that time.

So we quickly made our way through security.

We went to our gates and plopped on chairs. We couldn'T wait to leave. I grabbed a coffee and something to eat. I wasn'T really hungry, but it seemed to be the thing to do.

Our flight was at 7am. We boarded without a problem and soon were on our way. Once again, no tv.

I tried to sleep a bit with no success. I read some more and almost finished my book.

In Toronto, we went through customs without any problems. The guy barely asked any questions, and soon we were waiting for our next plane.

I went to Tim Hortons to grab us something to drink and I might have gotten something to eat.

We had a tv working on the plane that time. Yup, for the shortest flight lol

At one point, my mom turns to me and starts laughing almost histerically. Yup, we were tired. And she was laughing so hard, she couldn'T explain what was going on. Turns out, that the guy next to her was having a hard time with his tv. He couldn't get it to work. Well he didn't know that he was using my mom's "remote" and that her tv wouldn't stop changing channels. lol

We landed smoothly in Montreal. We quickly got our bags, and my dad was waiting for us.

So that marks the end of our March trip.

I feel like I should continu planning the next trip. But kinda feel like I have done everything.
