Child's fare on SWA

I was just on the website double checking the type of flight due to another thread. I wanted to make sure we would not be doing the direct flight thing vs non-stop. When I clicked on the non-stop to verify the type of flight, it listed child's fares. I think it said you have to actually call swa to make the reservation. Has anyone ever tried this?

I called about it once, a few years ago, and it was higher than the "get away" fares. Didn't make any sense to me.

Don't bother with a child fare. Wanna Get Away fares are almost always cheaper.

YUP, they are generally HIGHER that wanna get away and always HIGHER than DIngs! Good Luck!!
