Children's menu question

I know this question has been asked but I can't seem to remember the answer. Can my light eater 13DD order from the children's menu at quick and table service restaurants. We are NOT on any dining plan.

Not a problem at most restaurants.

Buffets and pre pays she will still be charged as an adult.

I do it all the time, sometimes I get raised eyebrows at TS but to be honest I tend to order an appetizer and a soup or salad anyway from those. QS they don't know the difference and don't care.

QS has never asked anyone I've been with if its for a child or not, they don't care

It is frequently reported that some non Disney owned TS restaurants do not allow this.
At most places you will be okay
