Children's meal

We are headed that way in only 64 days. DH and I are trying to get our budget figured out. We are on the dining plan- free dining. So our oldest has to order a children"s menu per rules.

We have two children. One is 6 and can be a moderate to heavy eater at times (he is a competitive swimmer). The other one is 2 years old and is primarily GTube fed. He eats next to nothing by mouth, but will sometimes surprise us. He is offered food at every meal. My question is, what are the portion sizes for the Children's meals Counter Service?? My boys can easily split a small adult combo McDonalds. But, sometimes have trouble sharing a Happy Meal unless I add an extra side. I don't mind paying out of pocket for the baby to have something or possibly splitting an adult meal and a children's meal between myself and the two boys. I just need to know what to plan for. Thanks!

The QS kids meals can be pretty small. I would plan on either getting an extra kid meal or at least an extra side of some kind. Most QS have some kind of salad, soup, fruit bowl or fries you can use to supplement.

Thanks!! We have been 2 times in 4 years. You would think I would have paid attention. But, it never really mattered because I always knew that Bit had enough food with a children's meal. Usually, I like to get them a fruit bowl to eat with their fries and entree. I will do that or carrot sticks, ect... Then, the baby can eat off of either mine or DH plate too, of he wants something.
