I know my fair share about character meals as they have been the highlight of our trips with DD. However, do any of the non-character restaurants offer children's sctivities like colouring sheets or games? It is great to relax and eat knowing she is enjoying herself too!!

Many thanks

I did answer your question, but I was on completley the wrong board!!:rotfl::rotfl:
I get a bit carried away on here sometimes
Sorry:hug:

I would highly recommend the Whispering Canyon. They have a number of activities to keep the children amused, such as riding around the restaurant on wooden horses and do make sure you ask for the ketchup.:cool1:

Whilst the activities are quite good and a good CM makes it interesting, we were completely underwhelmed with the food. Happy to have ticked this place off but there are better value for money, variety of food options elsewhere :)

When we ate at Cape May Cafe there were small buckets of colouring crayons on every table for people to draw on the paper table clothes during their meal.

at sci fi, the food is terrible, but the kids can watch the movie clips on the big screen..

at 50's prime time there is a bucket of crayons and kids get a placemat that's a coloring page...
also, there are tvs there with tv clips and the servers are interactive (some more interactive than others)...

I always keep a small pack of crayons and some paper in my bag. Good for all the waiting around.

I would suggest that most places provide some sort of activity for the kids to entertain themselves with - more often than not it is in the form of a childs menu that has games etc. on it.
Even the Calafornia Grill provided this.

Most of the TS restaurants provide pictures and crayons for the kids to do some colouring, some even have televisions in the lounge areas showing old cartoons or programs.
