I read about the kid's program where they get to be a chef, decorate an apron and stuff. This sounded really cool, I don't necessarily want a night out without them, but I thought they would enjoy this and feel big that they did this without us. Also, we did honeymoon in Disney, so it might be nice to spend a couple of hours alone in the park. Has anyone done this, any info, what's it like, how do you get reservations, how much $$, did they kids really enjoy or was it just regular babysitting, not a big fun night for kids.

It's called "grand adventures in cooking" held at Grand Floridian; contact Disney dining to arrange.

Also, I don't know if it would really give you too much alone time; it's from 10 to 11:45 in the morning. The kids love it though. My girls have done it before and are doing it again this trip.

Forgot to add it's about 25 bucks a kid and it's not at all just babysitting. They decorate hats and aprons, cook and then wheel a tea cart around the GF giving out the treats that they made. There's also an Alice tea party and a pirate cruise available at the GF for about the same price. In addition, there are kids clubs at some of the resorts at night. Have never done these but they seem to be more of like a playroom with babysitters. Minimum age for these programs is 3 and I think it's 4 for the babysitting.
