CAN ANYONE TELL ME ARE THERE ANY FAST RIDES FOR A 8 YEAR OLD AND WHATS THE BEST PARK FOR A FOUR YEAR OLD BOY.

Hi, WELCOME TO THE DIS!!!! Your 8 year old should be big enough to ride anything at WDW, and your 4 year old may be also. All of the coasters have height restictions, and they vary a little from ride to ride, but I don't know them all off the top of my head. The MK has the "mountain" rides, Space, Splash, and Big Thounder. MGM has RRC, and Epcot has TT and MS (not really a coaster.) You should have time to do lots with a 10 day pass. The weather in September will still be hot so plan to swim and try the water parks. Have fun planning...Lacee

The 8 yo should be able to ride most everything. There is a great section of Magic Kingdom with fun rides like the Barnstormer coaster for the little ones.

The weather in Sept is nice, usually 70's.

The 8yr will be able to ride everything but the 4yr old will need to be measured.

You don't want to wait until your trip to do this. There will be things that the 8yr old will be able to ride but not the 4yr. This can cause problems unless you prepare them in advance. I have been explaining to my 4 yr old that she CAN do Mission Space (42") but CAN NOT do Space Mountain (44").

There is a page on the disboards that you can plug in your 4 yr old's height and it will tell you which rides she will not be able to ride. It is very helpful to run this with your child and have them "read" Space Mountain and tell them Disney say's maybe next trip.

With a 10 day pass, I would suggest going to all the theme parks. Both of your children can visit the majority of attractions at the four theme parks and the two water parks as well.
