I am the single parent of a DS who is 9. He is very responsible and looks about 12. Our problem is that when we go to the parks he loves water rides. I can ride them once maybe twice but beyond that I'm done with them.

Would you let your child ride a ride by themselves? I would stay in line with him then get out when it is his turn and wait for him at the end of the ride. Am I crazy? Would this be safe to do?

Thanks in advance for your opinions.

I'd let my son ride alone, but I'd walk through the queue with him and duck out at the 'chicken exit'. Otherwise I can see myself worrying just a tiny bit if he were held up for some reason. Besides, you can learn some very interesting things about your child when you spend time talking while you're queueing! :D
