~Cerise pink, electric blue and banana yellow have ever featured in your wardrobe or make-up collection.

~You wondered why a popular kids TV programme told you to "Turn off your TV set and go and do something less boring instead".

aren't we all teenagers for that long??;)

~You remember when Atari was a state of the art video game system.

I downloaded a simulator on my PC. I've been playing all the old games....:D

Now you make me feel really old! I had forgetten about half of these things, but I really miss them! :)

Oh man, I remember nearly all of these. I must have had a million My Little Ponies. I also loved to watch the Transformers and She-ra on TV. Slap bracelets came back (for all of about a month) a few years ago I think--kids thought they were new. :)

Wagamama you are so cool!! I can relate to almost everything on here! The 80s were a great time to grow up, don't you think? Although I seriously think there needed to be some mention of New Kids on the Block!!!! I even had a NKOTB slap bracelet!!!! The were the best! I am still sad over the lack of good saturday morning programming on these days. And who could forget the very cool, Mister Wizard's World? It was a continuation of a show that ran in the 50-60s, but they brought it back on Nick in the 80s! That show was awesome, I would watch it in the morning getting ready for school.

I remember pretty much all of them...def a child of the 80's. I miss so many of those things. The Carebears are making a little comeback but I think only an 80's child would truely appreciate them.

I am definitely a child of the 80's. There definitely should have been a mention of NKOTB on that list, I was obsessed with them when I was little.

Oh I've seen that list numerous times! I'm technically only a baby and very little child of the 80s since I wasn't born till late 81, but I still am familiar with a whole bunch of those! I watched like all those cartoons- He-Man, My Little Pony, Care Bears, Rainbow Brite, etc. I still collect My Little Ponies and own about 50, and I got 2 brand new Care Bears for my birthday this year. I've worn slouch socks, slap bracelets, t-shirt ties (those little metal circles...I think I still have one somewhere), side ponytails, skirts with shorts under them, and neon colors.

This list gave me chills...LOL

and I STILL wear a swatch watch!

I too am a very proud child of the 80's! I think mentally I still am there! LOL!!! And what do you mean.... Dirty Dancing IS a great movie!!!!!

i remember way to much of that stuff now where's my tender heart bear and i'm still looking for care bear cusion horse

well thanks!!!!! I am pretty cool, huh? :teeth:

And I remember Mister Wizard's World too!!!! I loved that show!!!

YOU all feel old??? I don't even know what half of that stuff IS! And not because I'm too young -- I'm too OLD to have been into any of that. I was in my 30's in the 80's! My DD was born in 1986!

Old for me is this coming Friday, when I turn the big 5-0 (and on the 13th, of all days)!.

My growing up years would have to include things like Beatle dolls, Nehru shirts, flower power, The Monkees Show, and peace/love/freedom/happiness!!!;)

born in 1985 but alot of this applies to me LOL

I remember most of those :) I loved my fingerless gloves and leg warmers:bounce:
