I know my 1 year old can be really loud he is a little ham and loves to play it up for people and the carachters when he sees them. He also likes to throw his food around when he gets to playing. My 3 year old well almost 3 anyhow she likes to crawl under the table and doesn't like to sit still I have no problem with that if she is playing around our table no big deal. We do eep her from roaming to other tables but if she wants to play around our table that is fine if we are still eating and she is done no big deal it makes me laugh to see people that scowl at the kids playing or point and whisper it makes you want to send the kids over to them and ask them if they have a problem come on folks they are kids and they are at the one place in the world that turns us all into kids.

I really do not think that WDW can only be for one certain type of person.
Do you remember what I was wearing that day? I sure taught my wife a lesson didn't I? Why didn't you feed my kid anyway?Originally posted by twinmomplus2new
After reading desperados pool behavior post. I remembered last summer at AKL.There was a very cute little girl about 6 at the pool. Well she was cute for about 5 minutes. I was with a very large group we ourselves had about 12 little ones in the pool. Well this kid was with us the entire day. Cute as all heck little french braids, someone had taken the time to braid her hair, So I assumed she had a parent somewhere. She was one of the freshest kids I have ever seen, first pushing the little ones (under) She then graduated to climbing on my BIL's back in the water. She was asked to stop over and over to no avail. Then she was splashing adults in the face and laughing. There was never a parent to be seen. Honestly this was hours. Long after we had eaten lunch and come back she was still there. It got to the point that she splashed my Ill Aunt in the face on purpose, and I happened to see it, I went right up and said. OK enough where are your parents? I don't have to tell you your not my mother. I alerted the lifeguard who spoke to her she raspberried him. And went across the pool to annoy someone else/ When we packed up at about 4. The guy next to my BIl's chair called her over. He had been sitting the entire time. Mom shows up w/bags and says did so and so eat he says no. She says why? He responds because I told you I was sleeeping today not watching her. She has been playing with that nice family all day. They were horrible people. I must add we were very vocal on our chairs about this childs behavior and he just sat there and said nor did nothing.
No, that's my wife. I was the skinny guy with the pony tail, tatoo, and large stain on my muscle shirt. Gimme back my towel, will ya.Originally posted by twinmomplus2new

I think 98% of DVC members have no problem with chidren at DVC resorts. I think the problem is with the PARENTS who allow the children to miss-behave and look the other way.
(They do provide some children-free experiences, don't they?)
