We are considering doing the CP dinner package and were wondering if this restaurant is child friendly? We will have a 4 and 6 year old with us. Does anyone know what the dinner package includes for children?
Thanks.
Lisa

We took DD when she was 20 months. She did fine. The waitress was very friendly and kept us loaded with pretzel bread. Of course, this is all the kid wanted to eat, forget real food!:) I have also dined there with two older kids, I think that they were around 5 and 9 at the time. All of the kids found things on the menu to eat.

We have PS for this December for my birthday. We now have two DDs: they will be 3 and 11 months at the time.

We plan out meal times for close to the time we would eat at home, and not too late, so we know the kids won't be fussy.

Yep, no problem... they are very good with the kids, providing crayons, etc! While you wait, there is even a game on the beeper to play to keep eveyone occupied. I wouldn't hesitate to take my DD. They also have a special cut of steak especially for the little ones!

My DSD is a little older, but eats off the kids menus all the time. She did the CP at Le Cellier off the kids menu and loved it. There are lots of kid friendly suggestions and the waitstaff was very kid friendly.

Can someone tell me what the CP dinner package is? I don't know if I'm having a mind block or I really don't know what it is:confused:

Candle Light Processionsal. A holiday show with music and story tellers paired with dining in a World Showcase restaurant.

They have a kids menu.
No problem with kids food.
Have your kids share a Chocolate Moose cake.
It looks like a moose - we took a picture
but do not have a way to get the picture on
the web. It has 2 maple leave cookies for
ears, blueberry eyes, a cherry nose, a red
tounge, two scoops of choclate cake with
chocolate moose inside for the head and sits
on a large chocolate chip cookie.
It looks great. I hope I did it justice with
my description.
My DS, 10 years old, polished off the
whole Moose for dessert.

It's expensive for dinner - at least for us.
My DH & myself had steaks.
My DS & DD (who is 7)had kid dinners.
No alcoholic drinks. Our bill was around $100.

But the food was delicious :)

We took my DD to LeCellier when she was 5 months old. She obviolusly didn't order off the menu, but nobody blinked when we borught a baby in.

We did see a family at a nearby table on that trip that showed us that the waitstaff tehre is really family friendly. It was a family of a mom, a grandma, and 4 kids. The mother was constantly trying to keep the kids from fighting, and switched them to different seats at various points. At one point, one of the kids knocked over all of the drinks on his side of the table when his mother asked him to change to another seat (so he would stop fighting with his sister). The waitstaff didn't even blink. Within seconds, the mess was cleaned up and new drinks were delivered to the table.

If it were my restaurant, I probably would have told them to come back when the kids knew how to behave. Maybe that's why I don't have a restaurant. LOL!

We went to LeCellier as part of the Candlelight processional package last year and are going to do the same this year. My 7 y/o DS and 11 y/o DD were not ecstatic about doing Candlelight again but were excited to be going back to that restaurant with the fantastic desserts. They have mentioned the desserts serveral times throughout the past year.

We were at Le Cellier in July with our DD 7 and DS 5. I think they had the grilled chicken breast, but I recall they also had trditional "kid favorites". For dessert they had smores, which were really adult-sized portions. They were a fantastic treat and uniquely presented. I highly recommend these.

They also LOVED the pretzel bread...
