Are kids allowed to eat off the the adult selections on the Buffets? We are paying the adult price for my 9 YO on the DDP, but I think my 7 YO may also like some of the selections on the the adult side.

In the past, if we have done a buffet, they have only eaten off the childrens selections. Mostly because that was all they were interested in. And we paid OOP. So if they did eat off the adult sections, we would have just paid the difference.

There aren't 'child' and 'adult' sections of the buffet; each buffet includes a selection of foods that kids might prefer (chicken fingers, spaghetti, etc), but anyone can eat from any part of the buffet.

Yes, and the adults can have all the "kids" items (sometimes you just want a little mac & cheese :rotfl:). There's no separation at the buffets -- once you are in, you can have whatever you want.:)

There is no such thing as a "kids buffet" or even an "adult buffet" at Disney. They have buffets with one section lower to the floor which has on it items that kids tend to enjoy (such as pizza, hot dogs, chicken strips, mac & cheese, etc.). Any person at the buffet (including children less than age three who are free) can get anything from any part of the buffet.
