Childfree Disney fans?

Hubby and I are kid free, but we do have plenty of furkids and 1 feathered kid!!!!

Child free, except for Murphy~ our 14 year old West Highland White terrier. I've often wondered how many pets get left home while their "moms" and "dads" go to WDW. Judging by this thread, there's alot!

I'm 37, my husband is 49; we have no kids and no pets, so we can go to WDW at the drop of a hat (although I plan our trips out at least a year in advance).

I'm a Disney FAN!

Child free family here, too - unless you count being married to a cartoonist. (sometimes I wonder, but it is an asset when it comes to places like WDW!)

Do have a fur child - cat Romeo, who thinks he's dog.

Kestral..... you are married to a cartoonist too????? I keep trying to get Geoff to send his portfolio in to Disney, but he just won't do it. He is way too lazy, he hasn't even picked up a pencil in months!!!! I guess you have to go through the animation tour every trip too.... lol

<--- Childfree, although you wouldn't be able to tell looking at all the Disney stuff around our apartment

DH (50) and I (40) are childfree and have just made an offer on a DVC resale - I already have the vacations through 2005 planned out! While DH does love Disney, I have definitely made him addicted since we've been together. (I first visited in 2nd grade the spring after WDW opened - stayed at the CR with my Mom and Grandma.)

We do, however, have 8 dogs and 2 cats. A realtor once asked me if I had kids and I said yes, eight (I'm really a dog person and always leave out the cats) but they all have four legs. She just stared at me and said "Eight kids and they're all mutants!". Had she had the right house, she would have made the sale right then.

And to those wondering - my mother-the-saint comes to our house and lives in while we're gone. I love my Mom!

Beth-
Good Luck with the bid on the resale!! I hope it works out for you!!

SO and I have no children, and currently no pets, although once we finish building our new home and move out of our apt. we have serious plans to get ourselves a doggy!!! My friend Scarlett873 makes fun of me because while she is thinking about children's names, I am compiling a list of dog names  Hope to do better with the dog than the fish...managed to kill all 7 of them within a week!! ;)

I am most definitely the disney lover in our relationship. SO goes along with it because it makes me happy, although I know he secretly loves it just as much as me!! We used to live in FL and had APs so we went just about every other weekend, often for just a day or two. Never managed to stay on-site though till we moved away to Indy (couldn't convince SO that it was worth it when we lived close enough to drive home the same night-----MEN  ).

Sounds like you've been hanging around Pumba too much, she is a fish killer too ;)

d-r and I are childfree, but have one dog - Boomhauer. He's a 160lb Great Dane so he's bigger than most kids though!

We have the same dogsitter whenever we go anywhere so I think sometimes he even enjoys getting rid of us!

My DH and I are also Childfree and we have one siamese cat named Asia.
I am Disney "Obsessed!" and my husband likes Disney also, but he is not as nuts about it as I am! He does love to tell people on the phone, when making dinning reservations, "2 adults, no children, who would bring children to Disney???" LOL
We will also be married 10 years in November! I noticed several others that are celebrating 10 years soon :D

We do have a nephew and a god-daughter to spoil! We took my nephew to Disney for 5 days in Dec. It was intresting to tour the "World" with a child. We also plan to take our god-daughter occasionally once she is old enough (she is only 7 months!).

DH and I are happily child-free with currently 3 dogs and a cat. Our friends children love to visit us with the extensive video/DVD Disney collection we have along with our massive amount of stuffed toys, LOL!
