Also, during the summer, CA seems to have areas off the major rides specifically designed for the waiting person/younger child to have something to do the spend their time...
Ca Screamin' has the carousel (that's all year)
Soaring over Ca has a pavillion across the "street" w/ tables...they had a CM doing origami last summer that was fun even for my older one!
Tough to be a Bug has Bugland behind it (all year)
Dropzone had a Lilo and Stitch coloring area nearby w/some crafty stuff
there were others I can't remember...
when we were there this Xmas time, none of the crafty stuff was there anymore so I think it must be a summer thing!
Here's the secret that we used w/having more than one older kid, so they could BOTH get to ride twice...first get EVERYONE a FASTPASS for the ride, then come back at your time and get the BabySwap pass...send DH and two olders on first w/their FPs and keep yours as well as the Swap...when they get off (and it won't be as long as them waiting in the regular line), you go back on w/the 2 olders using your FP and the SwapPass (that gets 3 total on) while DH waits w/younger.
