Child Swap

How does Child Swap work? We have an infant & a 7 year old. The baby will be too small for some of the attractions. So we will take turns riding things with the older kiddo.

Please explain to me how this works

Go to the CM at the attraction entrance and ask for a Rider Switch ticket they will tell you were to get it. Parent A and child wait in line, fast pass or stand by. Parent A recieves the Rider Switch ticket, rides and give it to Parent B after exiting. Parent B can ride, and take older child too, without waiting by presenting the rider switch ticket.

I don't understand. So, you just wait in the regular line until you reach the CM at the boarding area, then ask for the switch ticket? I'd love to take advantage of this on our next trip. My 3-yr old may not be tall enough to go on rides like, "soarin'".

Ask the CM at the entrance, they will usually say ask at a place further down the line.

You can do this using the regular stand by line or FP return line.

I went on the Auto-utopia Cars with my 6 and 8 yr old grankids. We talked with the CM at the car loading point about how the switch works.

Here's what we did. All three of us in one car with the 8 year old at the wheel me pushing the gas pedal.
When the ride was over we got out, went to the CM at the loading point and they had all three of us get on a number to board an incoming car.
This time the 6 year old at the wheel this time while I pushed the gas pedal.

It is an extremely nice feature to get both kids a chance to do the driving, without having to stand through the entire line twice.
