I heard there is a thing where you can stand in line and one parent can ride, and then the other can go as soon as the 1st gets off... does this only work with multiple kids--like does a kid have to ride with you? We are bringing a 3 year old, who can't go on some things... would be nice to switch parents and not hang in line 2x.

A child does not have to ride with you.

You'll go the the ride attendent that stands at the ride line entrance and ask for a child swap pass.

Then one of you gets in line for the ride, while the other takes the child swap pass and your little girl, and you go get icecream or something fun while waiting.

When the first rider is done, they'll come out and stay with the little one, and now the one with the child swap pass goes up to the line attendent, hands them the child swap pass, and then gets in the fastpass line.

If you're doing child swap for a ride without fastpass, tell the ride attendent at the line entrance, they will hand you a child swap pass, then you all stand in line together until you get to the front. Then one of you rides while the others waits with your daughter in a safe location at the loading area. Then when the first rider is done they take the little one and proceed out the exit, and the next rider gets right on, rides, and then out the exit.

I hope I explained that without confusing you.

It's quite simple and GREAT for those of us with little ones!:thumbsup2

That is fantastic... I know people who have done it with a big kid and a toddler... and the big kid got to ride everything 2x! Although not as fun as riding Splash Mountain with my hubby, at least we'd both get to ride it!

Thanks for the explanation--totally makes sense!

The other thing too to note, is on all fast pass rides (except maybe Space Moutain), the baby swap pass is like a fast pass. So - they way we do it, is we fastpass the ride - rider one gets a baby pass, THEN hands over the fast pass, and rides the ride...then rider two uses the baby pass. This way neither of you has to wait in a really long ride...and you can actually double up on fast passes :rolleyes1
