Child swap question?

I will be 5 months pregnant during our trip next month. I have heard that pregnant women should avoid the Tomorrowland Speedway. (Since I don't much enjoy rides, this is not a problem for me.) My question is: will they allow a variation of the child swap? DH, DD5, DD2 and I enter line together. DH takes DD5 for a spin while I wait with DS2. Then, DH takes DS2 for his turn, DD5 waits with me. Or is this a non-issue -- all 3 can go together? I appreicate your help.

First, the ride is really pretty tame. I did it at 7 mo.s pregnant. You could use a hand getting into and out of the car, though. The only thing I'd recommend is for someone you know (your husband and one of your kids) to ride in the car directly behind yours, so that no body bumps you from behind.

If you still don't want to try it, I'd explain it to the CM at the start of the line and see what they say...they'd probably let you swap the way you described.

Good luck!

I think you can do the swap. I do remember seeing signs for pregnant women not to ride...I have been bumped hard by the car behind me in the track, while my son was driving!?! I think checking would be the best thing to do...I would not put all three in the car.

I'd be worried about the fumes. I have a hard time sitting in Tomorrowland near the speedway due to the exhaust smell.

You may want to avoid if you plan on letting your child drive--with my 4 yo DGS it's: go...stop HARD...go...STOP HARD...go...STOP HARD..go go go go STOP HARD (give me whiplash)

or even worse, whiplash from the left to right, right to left side to side hard turns that they do! :rotfl:

I have a 4 yr old who insists on driving! :rotfl2: His dad has pretty much put his foot down, he won't go with DS if he's driving, so I have to be his passenger.
