Child Swap & IOA/Universal

Hello,

Can someone please clue me in on how the child swap works at either park? Will we be able to leave DD in her stroller or will we have to hold her? MY DD will be 11 months when we travel.

You will have to hold her. The rides we used child swap at the child swap waitee waits inside the ride area of of the queue.

You can use the stoller at the child swap at MIB. I've seen many strollers there.

I've seen strollers in the Hulk child swap area too. I know I thought it was crazy to have someone pushing a stroller up the exit ramp while 32 people were trying to get off the ride

My husband and I will be using the child swap so we can go on the big rides while on vacation, just wondering how it works is their a seperate line for this and what are the waits like if you do the child swap , we dont want the kids to have to wait too long so we can ride something. Also does the mummy, hulk, and dueling dragons had the swap! Thanks for any info!!

All of those rides have child swap.

This is how it works. You wait in whatever line you are in (either express, single rider, or regular line.) Then when you get near the front of the line, they will let one of you take the child to the baby swap area, while the other person rides. After you ride, you go back to baby swap and stay with your child, while the other parent goes into the express line and onto the ride. They don't make the second rider wait in the long line again because they have already waited once.

If you have other children who will be riding the ride, they can ride twice, once with each parent.

Mummy and Hulk try to avoid this method. They usually have the group split up at the beginning while the waiting party either goes up the exit (Hulk) or is escorted up by an attendant (Mummy).

But at every other attraction, that's exactly how it works.
