Hi. My youngest (10) won't go on Gringotts, he doesn't like anything dark or fast (he even hated BTM and HM). Am I right in thinking that universal are ok with you using child swap for kids who just don't want to ride rather not meeting height? Also at Gringotts would we all go through the queue together so he can see the goblins etc and then go off to wait? It is just me and my 2 boys, eldest and I both want to ride. Thanks

Shouldn't be an issue. Child swap room is right beside the loading dock.

use the chip swap.
many have someone with them that won't do a specific ride and use it

We just used it today with DS who is tall enough. There was no one monitoring who used it or how. Not sure if that's normal, but I had to go through a lot of effort to even find out what to do, because it seemed pretty self-service.

Just after you get off the "mine-elevators", it's to the left (and up a real elevator). There should be a team member nearby.

I was pleasantly surprised at how easy child swap was at Universal. Super convenient. My older DD did not ride it last time and and she was tall enough. They had no problems at all with my husband and I doing the ride while our girls waited with one of us.

It is a nice little room with seating. Universal did a great job with planning the child swap aspect of the park.
