Question

Family of 6. 3 adults, 1 6 year old, 1 2.5 year old and 1 baby. If I have 3 fast passes to FEA, My wife and mom can take our 6 year old and 2.5 year old as well because he has no ticket. With the rider switch, I can take 3 people. That means me, my wife, and 6 year old while my mom takes care of the baby. Question, can I take my 2.5 year old (no ticket) with us for a total of 4 because he has no ticket or is it strictly 3 people?

I don't think child swap is an option for FEA, since there's no height requirement.

Just curious, does anyone have any guesses as to why that is?

All I know is that I used riderswap with my wheelchair bound mother because she could not transfer and, due to dementia, could not be left alone. Maybe that is the kind of situation they were thinking about.

So there are no accessible boats? That would explain one reason

Yes - you can do what you proposed. If you don’t need a ticket, you don’t need a FP. Good opportunity for the two other kids to ride twice if you don’t want to bring the baby.

While there is no height requirement, I can see some parents having hesitation with a small baby due to the drop. That and the transfer issue are two possible reasons.

That too. I made DH hold DS because he was only 5 months and it made me so nervous. He is holding him under the chin to hold his head firmly in place so he didn't get jostled.

Thanks. When my 2.5 year old was 1, he was scared. I figure use the child switch instead of forcing the baby on the ride.

Maybe the small drop or the possibility of getting wet?

She loved it, but when my DD3 was 1, the drop was pretty terrifying to her.

the picture is priceless!

The reason for no wheelchair boat is the incline the boats go up, the drop and the turn after the drop.
There would be no way to secure the wheelchair.

The photo of the little girl on the drop is one of my favorite all time ride photos. The little boy is up there too. Poor kids
