How high off the ground are the child pull-down beds? Wondering if I should plan for my toddler to just sleep in the pack and play, or if padding underneath with a pillow or two would suffice. Don't want him to potentially roll off and hurt himself.

They are pretty low to the ground. We always just pushed a chair from the table against the bed, or used couch cushions when they were removable, just in case. Pillows should work as well. Never had any issue. Good luck!

I guess it depends on how old a toddler you have and what they're used to sleeping in at home.

We didn't use bed rails the last time and the foldout at POR seemed lowish enough to the ground where we weren't concerned about it....but she was also 3.

It was pretty low. I rolled up a couple towels and put them under the sheet to keep her from rolling off, but she ended up not moving at all (which never happens). At home we have bumpers under the sheet on her bed, so I tried the towels first.

Put the chairs in your room with their backs against the bed to act like a bedrail.
