I haven't flown in a while and I am wondering... do you need ID for kids on domestic planes???

I carry their birth certificate ~ but have only been asked for it when the girls were flying free under the age of 2.

You do not need any ID for children under 18 travelling on domestic flights except in the case noted by the PP (proof that a child is under two and eligible to travel without a ticket as a lap baby).

My kids are all between 2 and 16 so I am correct when I say they don't need ID?
