Actually they give (or a couple of months ago) a written type voucher to use for replacement clothing. We had an incident and we actually quickly on our own purchased replacement clothing but three different times (two by a manager where it happened and one CM at First Aid all took out a pad and were writing up a voucher for us for clothing replacement).

Either way, a $100 gift card doesn't quite add up....as you said, it would be a voucher (probably when it is from places like first aid that can't take you to a shop) or you are escorted. I have even heard of employees just going to get shirts or shorts out of a gift shop and bringing them to someone.....
