Thanks to an inquiry from Poohtown, I realized that although I have referred to DS's favorite companion and best friend throughout my trip reports, I have yet to properly introduce him.

My sincerest apologies!

Puppy is a Gund dog. Mutsy was his original name, but "Puppy" is what stuck. He's been everywhere with DS, and now, even a few places without him :)

He is loved. He was and still is DS's favorite animal - Stitch is fast becoming a close second (now the three of them - DS, Stitch and Puppy - are inseperable!!) and has been "tickled" raw in many places. It was the only way (or at least it seemed that way) that DS would calm himself to sleep - by stroking Puppy in that one familar spot (where the Gund tag used to be :))

He has developed holes in a few spots, and has been restuffed at least twice. To see him, he looks like he has mange - but it's really love!

This was Puppy's second trip to WDW and MK as well, and probably his last. :(

Without further adieu, I give you DS and Puppy...

Best Friends at Disney World (MYMCP before the "incident")

There's nothing like a well-loved stuffed friend!

I have a much younger (18 years) sister who fell in love with one of my pass-me-down stuffed animals ... she loved it so much the "fur" fell off it's entire body ... our grandmother re-stuffed it several times ... at 32 she still has her kitty (although she doesn't sleep with it any more).

Ha! That's what you think!!!

As I mentioned on your other thread, we have darling Aimee, the well abused cabbage patch baby but also a baby blanket - The Chrisy blanket. It was my son Chris's when he was a baby. DD took command of it at her first opportunity and it is now the consistency of a well used piece of cheap kleenex. It you even hiccuped while holding it it would shred!!!

My son who is 12 has whoewee (spelling) He is a killer whale that was given to him they day he was born. They have never been apart. I can't tell you how many times he's been sewn and restuffed.

Chico, your son is adorable. I think it is very healthy to have a stuffed friend. We all should have one - LOL. :)

Great pair, they go together very well...Both are well loved.

yeah !!!!! Puppy!!!!! I hope he never gets lost again. I had alot of stuffed animals when I was little and some of them have stayed with me. At 36 I still have my first stuffed animal - a musical lamb (missing alot of fur, an ear, plenty of stiches). It sits on my bedroom shelf right next to my husbands baby toy which his mother had saved without him knowing.
