I'm not sure what happened to Tuesday, I was crazy busy and it flew by.

Tricia are you watching Big Brother this year? I'm wanting to talk to someone about it! I'm trying to remember if it was you that watched in years past! My memory isn't what it used to be and I'm not *that* old. Not yet anyway.

Yes I've been watching Big Brother. I'm realy like Jeff and Jordan. In the beginning I didn't like Russell at all. Some weeks I want him out then some I want him to stay. I was so glad to see Jesse go. So who's your favorites this year?

 

[Sthronds]

I totally agree with you. Russell is hard to read. Sometimes he seems completely loyal to Jeff and Jordan and other times he is a loose cannon. I'm not sure where he really stands. I'm so glad that they kicked Chima out though. She just got on my last nerve.

I really like Jeff and Jordan. They seem like genuinely nice people. I like Michele too but she's hard to read too. I don't mind Kevin but I think Natalie needs to go next. That pity party over Jesse was just awful.

Monday again. Today's been kind of nice because Big Boss #1 is gone! Yay! Makes for a more relaxed office. How was your weekend?

 

[Grumpy's Wife]

Good morning. We've been in the 80's for the last couple of days (instead of the 90's) and wow it makes such a difference. I think part of that is we're getting low humidity for some reason but it just makes you want to be outside.

Big Brother~On Sunday Kendall and I was watching the HOH competition and she was getting real nervous that Kevin was going to win. I'm glad Jeff pulled it out.

I'm heading over to Barnes & Noble today. Kelsie needs a book called Speak for her English class.

Have fun shopping at the bookstore! I love bookstores way too much.

I too was thrilled that Jeff won HOH. I hope they can get rid of Russell. I think he's too unpredictable and I don't think he'd take Jeff to the finals. He knows he couldn't win against him.

We've had such mild weather this summer. We usually get about a dozen really hot days a year which is nice. They'll probably all arrive in October since we've had such a cool summer.

Good Morning. Sorry I've been MIA for a couple of days. It seems like I get on the DIS less and less these days. Maybe because we don't have a trip in the works yet? Last year Kendall and Colin both started school later 8:45 which means they didn't leave the house until 8 AM. This year Colin has the earlier school and he leaves at 7:00. That hour has taken away some of my morning computer time.

Did you have a nice weekend? Kendall and I had a day of running errands and shopping on Saturday and yesterday was just a lazy day of nothing.

I've been MIA as well. I don't get on the Dis at all except to check in with you.

I had a quiet weekend. It was insanely hot here (109 on Friday) so I spent a lot of time indoors. Daisy ate her bed (tore it up) on Friday night so I did buy her a new one on Saturday. So far she seems to like it. She's really going through a destruction phase.

Other than that, just cleaning, laundry, stuff.

7:00 is very early to start school! Wow! I would have hated that as a kid. Heck, I'd hate it now!

Kendall has her first football game tonight as Cheerleader Captain. Really the only difference from last year is that she'll be leading the cheers. She doesn't seem nervous at all but that just goes along with her personality.

I'd be a nervous wreck but I'd be more worried about having to wear those short skirts. . . I hope she has a good time!

Going to see the Time Traveller's Wife tonight. I read the book last year and really enjoyed it.

So how was the movie? I think the trailer looked good.

Do you have an Albertsons grocery store in your area? We had one open up around here yesterday. When I tell you you couldn't get into the parking lot, boy it was like a zoo. It was just crazy. I'll give it a few days to calm down then go check it out.

The movie was very good but kind of sad. I expected it to be sad though. I enjoyed it.

We do have Albertsons here. It's the grocery store I go to most often. Ours is always cold! I'm not sure why but it's colder than any other grocery store!

We are having our annual heat wave. It's been in the high 90's this week. Last week we hit 109! It should cool down soon. I hope.

Good morning. So sorry for my absence but reality of my crazy mornings hasn't had me DISing.

I hope you enjoyed your holiday weekend. We had two family gatherings and way tooooo much food. Not good for the diet at all.

So are all the kids back in school now? I can't believe that my kids are in week five already. I keep telling them that it will the holidays before we know it.

Do you have any vacations plans coming up? We are working on booking a cabin in the Smoky Mountains right now. Planning on the end of June or middle of July. We really want to avoid the 4th of July at all costs. I hate having to wait an extra hour at every restaurant to get a table.

Hi! I haven't been around much either. Work has been nuts. Sounds like you had a busy weekend! I was up in Northern Cal for a family wedding. It was fun, my aunt who's 73 married a younger man (65). It was a really nice weekend. It was good to see my family who I only see about once a year.

My next vacation is a brief run through Italy in November. I'm really looking forward to it. I've never been so it should be really great. I just wish I were going to be there longer. It's only 6 nights and we are hitting three cities.
