Good morning!

I've got friends that came into town last night so instead of Big Brother we watched hours of Spongebob. I did talk to my parents so I know what happened. I'm happy. I hear someone was really really really mad too.

This weekend is my parents' big anniversary party. We've got 40 friends and family members coming into town. Tonight starts the activities with hamburgers and favor making. Tomorrow at noon part of the family arrives for pizza, tomorrow night is the big event and then Sunday morning I am hosting brunch for the rest of the family. My poor friends have been enlisted to help! I've got my BFF's husband agreeing to do omelets to order!

If I survive, I'll check in again on Monday.

I just became a foster family for the local dog shelter. We have 3 chocolate lab puppies (sooooo cute!) and one springer mix.

DH doesn't know about any of this (we've never owned a dog before).... wonder what his reaction is going to be?

I'm so glad they're gone They dod look like a couple od sore losers.
This cast is so much different then the past 2 seasons. I can actually tolerated all if them. Dan is mmy favorite though!

Good morning! It's a bit of relief to get back to work after the crazy weekend I've had. We had 4 different gatherings (actually there were 5 but I skipped one) with cousins and friends all over the place. It was so nice to see everyone. I haven't seen some of my cousins for a few years so it was good to catch up. There were 5 cousins on my dad's side of the family when I was young. I was the youngest and we have all kinds of pictures of the 5 of us. This time we did a cousin picture and there is the next generation so it will be neat to see how it came out.

I've been doing really well thanks! How have you all been? The kids keep getting bigger and bigger! We spent July in Mexico and had a blast and now my husband wants to move there! It was truly beautiful.

It's always odd to reply to myself. Hope all is well with everyone. I'm a bit sleepy today! I think last weekend has caught up to me.

I noticed that my lunchbag had a tag in it that said California Innoventions, of Toronto Canada. Then it said "Made in China." I think it's confused about it's nationality!

Good morning ladies.

We got the power turned on last night around 7:00. I'm happy to report that we have no damage from Hurricane Gustav. I really don't think I could handle going through what we did with Katrina again. We cleaned out the fridge and freezer before we left so today I'll try to restock those. I've got lots of laundry to catch up on but what's new with that. I hope you all are well as I haven't backtracked and I see Michelle is here too.
