I've had a pretty quiet weekend. The highlight was spending an hour and a half on the phone with Ahmet. He's in India. Bombay, India. And he knows a lot about fixing HP computers. Unfortunately, not enough. Sigh. So now my happy home is minus one computer. It's the one DH uses so it has about a bazillion iTunes purchases on it. And all of his stories and columns (for his newspaper and random stuff he's written). And a bunch of my old WDW photos. Gotta figure out how to get all that stuff out. Anybody know how to link your iTunes across computers? I know you can share. But I don't really get it. Tricia, this sounds like a question a teen could answer. Perhaps you could do some investigating?

I'm not a morning person either. Though I want to be. I imagine myself getting up early and getting so much done all before 9 am. But it never happens. When that magic hour rolls around, the one where I want to get up, I just can't do it. The dark, coziness of early morning and the warm comfiness of my yummy sheets and comforter just won't let me go. I need to change.

Good morning. Rats, it's Monday again. It was a nice warm weekend and then today it is cool again.

Arkie, I know there is a way to pull music off of your ipod but I never did figure out how. I had a computer crash and lost everything on itunes and was completely confusesd as to how to figure things out. I just started from scratch.

Nooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There's no way he can start over!!! He had over 500 songs purchased plus lots and lots of his own cd's he uploaded and probably doesn't have (the actual cd's) anymore. Jeez. I suppose this is something you're supposed to be on top of before your computer dies.

On the upside, it's been sunny for three whole days! Though it's only forty something degrees.

DH has a friend who knows computers. He came by and "fixed" it. But it was short-lived. We didn't have a chance to try to retrieve anything before it died again. Maybe we can re-create the fix tonight and see what we can get out of it.

Good morning! Hope all is well with everyone. Just another day at work here.

Did you hear that they are predicting that in the next 30 years there will be a major (above 6.5) earthquake in California? I am not thinking this is big news. In my 35 years I've been through 2 major earthquakes (and several minor) so I would have been able to predict the same thing without all that fancy equipment.

It was in the 90's here on the coast but over in the inland areas it did get into the 100's. It's unusual but things have cooled off and are now back to normal.

I was looking at the extended Alaska Airlines packages to Disneyland with the kids fly free, the 5 days for 3 It doesn't seem like a bad deal. From here ( Eugene, OR) it is approx $1900. for 4 nights at the Hojo 5 days. Have you seen any other great deals anywhere?

Well, I can't honestly say that I have heard of anything. The kids fly free thing is a great deal that Alaskan offers. With air prices as high as they are right now, that's probably a good deal.
