In December they were still chicken tenders....one of the items that the cruise line does better than the parks!

Hi All
We have not been on the Magic since EB Repo 2008 or the Wonder ever!
My question is has DCL gone the ways of the Parks (Darkside) & switched from Chicken Tenders to Chicken Bites? I am hoping not!![]()
Why not?!?....they look like chicken tenders.
Just for you it will be herring tenders.![]()

I will have Andrew talk to Concierge about it!

Chicken Bites? Is that what they call them in Boston?

nacho is 100% correct.....a few years ago they did switch to nuggets....one of the worst moves they made. Due to the number of complaints they switched back to tenders.....
That is why it is so important to fill out those comment cards....DCL really does listen!!

I did send a few e-mails it did no good!So how do we get them to change back to tenders at the park? I sure could eat some DCL tenders right now.![]()

Shhhhh...don't you know there are Disney spies everywhere! Don't give them any ideas! Keep it up and next thing you know not only will they give us Chicken niblets but also wheat buns for our hotdogs and hamburgers.
Gah! Forget I just said that last part.![]()

BTW...when did they change from tenders to nuggets at WDW? We haven't ordered them there or even paid attention to them being gone for a long time.
But they are really good on DCL.
From your countdown, I see you are doing one of the European cruises. Don't be surprised if they have them but the taste is different.
In Aug 2007, when we did the WB TA Repo, they had Chicken tenders but they tasted differently than the usual DCL tenders(IMO, it wasn't for the better). I'm sure it was because DCL used local suppliers in Europe and the product was just different. I also noticed the difference in taste of a number items. We sailed the Magic again in Dec. of 2007 and the tenders and other items tasted great like usual. So it must have been the supplier.
I did the Med in 2007 and cant recal
I do not think I noticed a difference but I swear the Mickey Bars were different if I remember correctly
Now I have 2 things to worry about!
