In case, its called something different in your neck of the woods:

Chicken Cordon Bleu - Chicken breasts are wrapped around ham and mozzarella cheese (we have ours coated in breadcrumbs too)

Chicken Kiev - Chicken breasts (in breadcrumbs) with a garlic/herb filling

Whats your fav?

I love both the same - probably two of my favourite meals. :)

Definately Chicken Cordon Bleu in this house. I make it a little different though.

Take a can of Campbells Cream of Chicken soup (I use Family Size) put in bowl add 1/2 can of water and stir until blended. Set aside.

I take boneless skinless chicken breasts and pound it a little until it is flat.
Lightly salt and pepper.
Place a layer of swiss cheese
Layer of ham
Layer of Provolone cheese

Roll up and stick a wooden skewer through the chicken breast.

(repeat steps with each breast)

Place the rolled up chicken breasts in a glass cooking dish and add the cream of chicken soup mixture.
Bake in a 350º oven for 50 minutes or until bubbly and the breasts are tender when poked with a knife.

Serve with baked potato, green beans and a salad. and baquettes. YUM!

Chicken Kiev!!!! I love garlic & herb! I don't like Cordon Bleu just because I don't eat pork....but that could probably be good too.

I love both if done right. The kiev is somewhat boring if done wrong and the cordon bleu has to be well done.

My cousin is a chef and he made both for a family dinner once. Loved both but preferred the cordon bleu.

Kiev for me. Chicken Cordon Bleu is made with Swiss. I might like it if it were made with something else. I do like the white wine/cream sauce it's served with though.
