Chick-Fil-A - what to order

Cobb salad is my go to, often with a waffle fries.

chik fil a waffle fries are bomb if you like softer, squidgier fries. If you like thinner or crispier fries then skip them.

I personally find the seasoning on their grilled chicken completely overbearing and just too much - it makes my eyes water. I think they use a lot of onion/garlic powder which doesn’t agree with me.

side note - the before 10:30am chik n minis are like crack. They’re nuggets in a cross between a bun and a biscuit (though admittedly I think there too much dough and usually leave a pile behind) with like a honey glaze they’re my fav fast food breakfast.

I'm sure it's too late now and I hope you enjoyed it, but for me the go-to is the spicy sandwich with mayonaise and polynesian sauce or honey-raosted barbecue sauce for my fries.

We have three that are easy to get to and at mealtimes there are always double lines stretching out down the street at all of them. Their regular famous chicken sandwich is always our go-to. There's a reason they are always the busiest places in town!

I totally agree with chick n minis being like crack. They are sooo good! Love them with some hash browns and an iced vanilla coffee. Yum.

For those who didn't like the fries because they were soft, you can order them well done. I will say that since Covid, they don't always pay attention to that request, but if we ever return to normal that is a way to get crispier fries. I usually get nuggets with a side of pickles and then it's the flavor of the sandwich, without all the bread. If you get a kid's meal, you can sub a fruit cup for fries for no charge, or sub mac and cheese for a slight upcharge.

Spicy Chicken Deluxe sandwich!!!! Also, the Chik-Fil-A dipping sauce is is great if you like creamy honey mustard

My go to is the sandwich, waffle fries & diet coke. And most of the chic fi las here have brought back the cole slaw so that too.

I don't eat there much anymore because it doesn't agree with my calorie limits (and I *hate* the grilled chicken there). But my go-to is always the chicken strips. Very good. During Lent, they also make a fish sandwich that I love. Also, when I was eating whatever I wanted, the peach milkshake offered in early summer is wonderful.

The waffle fries were meh
My issue with the waffle fries is that they deteriorate rapidly as they begin to cool down. Fresh out of the fryer they're good, but they turn to a weird cardboard kind of texture in a very short time. This applies to most fast food fries, but it seems worse with the waffle fries.

I haven‘t read the whole thread, but if going there I like the chicken wrap with apple vinaigrette dressing and the kale salad. I’m not wild about their chicken sandwiches or waffle fries, I feel sick when I eat them. I do like the nuggets by themselves, though.

Go ahead and throw tomatoes at me, but I don’t understand the love for Chick-fil-A. Over the years, I’ve been forced to eat there by friends and family who believe it’s the best food ever, so I’ve tried several of the recommended items. I don’t like the chicken sandwich, the chicken minis are greasy, the waffle fries are tasteless, the lemonade tastes like a cheap powdered mix, and the wraps taste like they’ve been sitting around awhile. I’ve decided I am the only person in the universe who doesn’t like Chick-fil-A. :duck:
