We are looking to get this stroller for our 2 1/2 year old. (she is a small 2 1/2 year old) We will be taking it to Disney. What do people think of this stroller?
Both DH and I are average height.

I don't have it, but my husband and I were looking at it recently. After a lot of bad reviews I read on it, we decided against it. We ended up purchasing the Graco Mosaic instead, which I think is pretty new. It's got a nice size basket and multiple reclining positions, which the Capri only has 2 positions and a smaller basket. If you go to Babies R Us website, they have reviews for the Capri which may help you decide!

I actually just returned mine tonight after purchasing one the other day specifically for Disney. It 1. was a pain in the butt to get the sun shade on and 2. also a pain in the butt to clip closed when folded up. I decided to go with a Maclaren in a stroller swap but I wasn't too impressed with it...

We had one and liked it for my then 2 year old, who was petite. I wished it reclined more, but I never had any troubles with the sunshade. It was super lightweight - light enough for my husband to carry around folded on his shoulder when she wasn't riding in it (which was rare). We're planning on taking it back this time, and using it in parks where we won't be there during naptime, but are taking a full size stroller for park days where we will be staying all day, and the possibility of her wanting a nap is higher.

The drawbacks for me was the recline (or lack of a full recline) and it's tippiness when she would get out of it.

I do have this stroller but I only use it for mall trips. I guess it depends what you are used to. I am shortish and can easily push this stroller but DH who is 6ftish refuses to push this stroller.
The basket is indeed small. I always hang my diaper bag over the sun shade rim for storage and never use the basket.

I have 2 other strollers, an old peg perego Aria (got for $20 at a garage sale) and a big Evenflo system. Last year we brought the Evenflo for DS 19 months, this year I think we are going with the Aria as it's lighter weight and DS won't be napping as much in it so it doesn't matter that it's not as comfy.

I have one that we ended up never using because it was just a little too short for us. I am 5-1/2' tall, dh is 6'2". I ended up buying another umbrella stroller with taller handles because we were both always kicking the back wheels on the Capri, and it was just annoying.

I registered for it and received it for one of my showers. We used it for less than a year after we got rid of the large Graco, and I must say I really did not like it. I sold it at the last consignment sale and got a Maclaren Triumph. I am only 5'3" and I felt like I was bent over to push it. There is a world of difference in the two. HTH

I was wondering about htis one myself. I have an older Chicco ct0.5, which I love, and was needing a second for our trip. I'm thinking about passing on the Capri after reading everyone's comments.

I was looking to buy a stroller last year before we went on vacation. I looked at the chiccos as the price wasn't too bad but when I test drove it in the store my feet kept kicking the back of the wheels so it was a no go on the chicco.

I forgot about that. Yes, we had that problem, too.

Hi,
We have this stroller but have only used it a handful of times for shorter trips and as an extra for DH's car. I am almost 6 feet tall and DH is 6'2" and we haven't had any trouble pushing it. The basket is small and it doesn't recline much more than a tilt but it gets the job done. We've never had a tipping issue unless the diaper bag was hanging on the handles. It is really light and comes with a bag with a shoulder strap so you can easily store it away. It works for us, but we've never taken it to DW. Hope you find a nice one!

I agree - the Maclaren stroller is the lightest, easiest stroller, but we chose the ZOOPER TWIST because of its extra features and lower cost. The canopy is amazing - it comes all the way over the seat to block out the sun. It also comes with a uv shade, rain cover, cup holder, pouch for keys, etc. My dislike is the recline mechanism. This stroller has 4 recline positions and lays flat for baby to nap, but its difficult to release the recline. Takes 2 hands and strength.

We're taking our full size graco quattro stroller to dis because of the large, sturdy basket and handy caddy for drinks and keys. Bought a diaper bag that attaches to the handle of the stroller so jackets, purchases, etc can be stored below.

Hope this helps. If I were doing it again, I'd probably spend a little extra on the Maclaren and get a stroller caddy and sun shade separately.

I have two Chicco Capri's and I love both of them. I haven't had any trouble with them at all. We will probably be taking ours to Disney with us.

Good to hear. I think I'm going to go check them out this weekend and see if it works for us. I really didn't want to spend too much on a stroller since our daughter is 2 1/2.
