Though a northsider here, still mighty pleased to see the southsiders getting to the playoffs, hoping all the way to the championship. How neat that would be!!!!!! Go Sox!!!

Hey, I'm "officially" a northsider, too, but have been a White Sox fan since my son became one in grade school and got teased because everyone else was, of course, a Cubs fan! Now, we are big-time Sox fans...we have it all...Sox shirts, a little Sox scarf for our doggie, even a White Sox teddy bear!

Congratulations to the Chicago White Sox and to their fans!

The Sox (and the Angels) are actually in a very good position because while the Yankees, Red Sox and Indians are fighting it out for the remaining two spots, the CWS will be able to field their lesser players and get their pitching rotation set. They've had a terrific season and just happened to run into a red-hot Cleveland team in the second half of the season, but still have the best record in the AL.
