My dh (mike) and I will be there too!
This is my first event besides a 5k and I have found it very difficult to stay consistant. I am following Hal Higdon's walking program. (because it is a 10wk program)(I would of done mfm, but I blew off the first few weeks!)
Tomorrow is my 5 mile walk. I am doing LW on Fridays since that is the day I have a sitter. I have walked 5 miles before, but not dodging cicadas.
Next week , 6 miles will be new territory for me.
I just wanted to say that it is huge motivator to me knowing that all of you will be there. I know none of you know me and I don't know all of you, but I still feel a huge comfort knowing that I am part of a group. My mom has been ill and 2 of my kids have had some health issues, so committing to this has been a mixed blessing. As it turns out, it may be the best thing I am doing for myself.
