Our effort in STL wasn't a complete waste. We depleted their pitching and they lost 6-0 to the Twin's. The losing streak has begun

Just a little nugget but the Astro's have more losses than the Cubs right now (but they have played 6 more games ) Anyone remember Kuechel trash talking ? He's 1-5. If they didn't have Cole, different story so far. Looks like a little bit of hangover after all for them.

You know that I was worrying last year about (1) the dugouts being moved down the line and (2) the netting going to the end of the dugout. I have been to 2 day games and the netting was slightly annoying but I could live with it. I was at my first night game and I HATE HATE HATE the netting. The light reflects off of it and completely ruins my view. I am so freaking angry. I *know* that it was done for safety but you would think that they could add netting without messing things completely up.

agreed...when we went last week tix were dirt cheap and I *could* have grabbed a few rows back behind the dugout but actually wanted the upper deck (I actually like the upper deck most if I can get right at or a row behind the railing) but remembered about the netting and thought well,go above it and check it out on a dime more than a dollar, KWIM? That was also a night game. You photo really show the difference. Wow.

You’re right. But who. It seems everyone’s been used. Joe was just on the Score (I was listening driving in to work). He wouldn’t say who. Just said he has an idea and needs to see if things are in place. Making it sound like it’s a call up of someone.

Just informed, JHEy did indeed hit his head pretty bad on that Dex WO. Has a concussion and is moved to the 7 day DL. Gosh DANG it!

We thought he had hit his shoulder hard but you can see it is his head that hits the wall. Since there was no mention of any injury ~thought nothing more about it. I take for granted how JHey constantly sacrifices his body out there.
Bote called up and Mazzoni optioned back and Rob Z is indeed called up today.
